“Great stay in a unique location”
Wonderful location and appartment, very uniquely situated in the main gate of a former castle. Since the appartment has been built relatively recently, it's much more comfortable than you would expect from a castle. Check-in/check-out was super easy and well communicated by the host.

“A unique experience with lots of character but no frills.”
A completely unique experience to stay in a castle. The four poster bed was a good size, really comfy and the room pleasantly warm. We had the best nights sleep in a long time. The bathroom facilities were good and there was plenty of hot water. Two suits of armour keep guard. The views are incredible from the tower. Great location and a short walk into the village. It’s good collecting the keys from a safe as it gives flexibility to arrive anytime. Being able to park within the castle is great and we got some fantastic photos. It’s an experience we won’t forget for all the right reasons.

“Atmospheric stay in beautiful castle location”
Amazing location. You get the castle to yourself. Thunderstorm at night we stayed lit up the room, four poster bed, suits of armour and antique furnishings with lightning. Very Hammer Horror like! Views over the town and river with walking in a riverside park and footpath were ideal for dog. Parking is inside the castle behind the portcullis.

“UNIQUE. sleep like a prince in a castle”
Have you ever slept in a castle? This is your chance. In this castle there is 1 suite and there you sleep. A unique experience. The host, Jean Luc, is really kind. The breakfast is amazing.
