“Wow… what a gem of a find!”
We found ourselves staying in the area for business, and our colleagues had booked a hotel in the city centre. After checking in, we quickly realised it just wasn’t for us, so we began searching for an alternative. That’s when we discovered Buitenliefde – and it looked incredible. Thankfully, it lived up to every expectation. When we arrived at this incredibly beautiful property, our host Jolanda greeted us with the warmest smile and a quick, efficient check-in. Almost as if it were meant to be, the fog that had lingered all day lifted just as we arrived, the sun came out, and we were immediately blown away by the setting. The place is simply stunning. The hosts strike the perfect balance – making you feel warmly welcomed while also giving you complete privacy. We spent the evening relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine as the sun set, which was absolutely magical. They were also kind enough to allow us a very generous late check-out at 4pm, which was hugely appreciated and made our stay even more relaxing. Buitenliefde will now be our home from home whenever we’re staying near Alkmaar. I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough.

“Amazing & spectacular place - most beautiful surrounding”
It’s a very beautiful decorated place with high quality interior. The owners / hosts were super friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The view into the garten is spectacular and all necessary outdoor equipment like BBQ, sun beds, … alt provided too. All in all this place is one of the most beautiful places we stayed so far.
