Stunning Swedish outdoors escape

Mona was an amazing host. As a solo traveler I decided to stay here for my first experience of Sweden as i wanted to see the nature and have a quiet stay opposed to a busy city break. I was the only person staying at the site and it was very peaceful. If you love hiking and being outdoors it is the perfect place to come. Mona went above and beyond to advise me on things I could do and made a lovely breakfast up just for me every morning. The cabin was lovely and the trails and views around the cabins are unreal. I think you should photograph more of the roads and paths around the cabins as they are beautiful. I didn't really know what to expect as I wanted a surprise trip for myself but it was really quiet going solo. I would like to return again someday and try a night camping and hopefully go kayaking when they re open.

Excellent location and very warm and competent staff.

Kynnefjall area is about the best place to do mountain bike around Gothenburg. We've been there 4 times: 3 to the holiday home and once just with a tent. The location is superb, the staff is very welcoming and warm and the facilities very clean and comfortable. KynnefjallsNatur is without a doubt our favourite holiday site around Gothenburg. Bonus for bike climbers: The very steep ramp up to the camping site/cabins (with sections reaching 18%) is the cherry for a demanding bike tour.

Beautiful rural setting and cosy accommodation. Excellent food!

Very peaceful and beautiful nature reserve, vast space in a rural setting. There was a lake nearby with secluded beaches which our dog loved to explore. Rooms in cute wooden hut and had everything we needed (kettle, fridge, etc), comfortable bed and lovely shower. Breakfast was included and there was a good variety and plenty to eat. The host was really friendly and helpful. We ordered evening meals for 2 nights at the restaurant which was delicious home cooking. Would definitely recommend and may visit again if we come back to this area.

Authentic wilderness cabin experience

Whether you like this depends on what you want. We liked our compact and solid wilderness cabin, which we used as a springboard to visit the rock carvings at Tanum and, via a boat from Fjallbacka, the Weather Islands.

Unique setting. Great hiking nearby. Home-made condiments at breakfast (b&b formula). Octopus boot driers were quirky. Will try them next time.

Highly recommended accommodation.

This is a wonderful place. Outstanding nature surroundings, pristinely clean accommodation and super comfy. We had an evening meal which was delicious and home cooked. Breakfast was as nice. We liked it so much, we changed our plans to stay for two further nights on our return journey from Norway. Thank you so much to Mona for a fabulous stay. Highly recommended.

SUCH a special place!!!!

We stayed for three nights over Easter (off season) in a B&B room to undertake hiking, as it was a short drive to a beautiful nature reserve (which the Bohusleden also ran through). While we picked it due to its location, we absolutely fell in love with this place - it felt secluded and right in the middle of nature. The family who run it are so wonderful and welcoming, and were also extremely helpful - they really went above and beyond for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (special mention to the homemade products! Which we ended up buying more of to take away). This ended up feeling like a very special homestay to us (except we were staying in a cabin in the woods!). It completely made our trip, so we're so glad we stayed! Thank you! Also as hikers we loved the shoe-dryers in the room..

Amazing location and super welcoming owners

Super friendly staff and amazing location, on a hill in the forest. Breakfast was lovely and even though there was a heatwave going on, the room stayed pretty cool.
