“Sunset cottages”

I stay 3 nights, and it was a girly time out. It's a absolutely beautiful place with everything you need. Quiet and yet a short drive there's plenty of shops. Neil and Pat are very welcoming host, it was nice to meet them 🙂. You can not pay for the peace I received at this lovely cottage.

“We loved Sunset cottage and hope to stay again.”

It was close to Healesville and the venue where we had tickets for a band. It was quiet and had a lovely view. We were thankful for the aircon which was very efficient, as the weather was extreme. The kitchen was well appointed and little extras that were a lovely surprise. The bed was comfy and hooks for things that needed to hang up.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. From even before we arrived, Pat and Neil were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make everything easy and comfortable. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained, cozy, and has all the little touches that make a stay feel special. The location is perfect for relaxing while still being close to local attractions. Pat and Neil’s helpfulness and attention to detail really made our holiday stress-free and enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly and would definitely love to return!

Beautifully furnished and hosts added lots of extras for convenience and comfort that made all the difference - like bread, eggs, blankets, umbrella etc

We loved Sunset Cottage! Pat and Neil have clearly put a great deal of thought into making this a great place to stay - it’s been set up thinking about what will work best for guests. The place was very clean, the beds comfortable and the views (and the kangaroos!) are great. It was a great base for exploring the local area. All communication with Pat was fast and very helpful. Our hosts were on hand and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, but not at all intrusive. We thoroughly recommend Sunset Cottage and Pat and Neil as hosts; very sad to leave.

We loved the rustic feel and the small touches. Things like the luggage holder and electric blankets made a difference to our stay.

We found the accommodation quite rustic and very comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. Having the heating on for our arrival was very nice.

The hosts Pat and Neil were the most delightful people. Not only did they take my daughters to see their cows and calfs during calving season (including letting my daughter give milk to a 2 day old calf), but Pat kindly mailed my kindle to my home address after I left it in the property. In addition, the setting was stunning and cottage cosy and lovely. I couldn’t recommend more.

“Charming cottage, a relaxing stay”

This cosy cottage is one that I would definitely stay at again! We were there on a cold weekend and we were very comfortable. I can see this being a great place to be in the summer too, sitting out on the deck. We enjoyed the sunset view, the proximity to the town, and the breakfast goodies were a nice touch. We had a relaxing time watching the smart TV, cooking up meals, and spotting the kangaroos. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. I would love to come back again to Sunset Cottage. Provided fruit, toast and milk alternatives as well as coffee machine. It was clean and cosy. Electric blankets were helpful. Pat and Neil were absolutely lovely, making sure we had everything we needed.
