“Felt Like Family – An Unforgettable Experience”

We had a wonderful one-night stay here as a stopover on our family trip to the lake mountains. From the moment we arrived, both Mike and Jen made us feel completely at home with their warm hospitality and friendly nature. The environment was cozy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing family night. They even provided a delicious breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our kids had a great time, too. They were made to feel just as welcome, which meant a lot to us as a family. We truly had an awesome experience and are already looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommended!

“Amazing stay! Comfiest bed!”

Mike and Jen are amazing hosts! From the second we pulled in their driveway, they were super accomodating, and friendly! After a massive day out touring everything Healesville has to offer, Mijens manor was very much a sight for sore eyes. THE comfiest bed ever, and the place was spotless! Unfortunately we had to leave at the crack of dawn, otherwise we were very much looking forward to the continental breakfast. The bathroom was spacious, and sparkling clean! ( honestly looked like it had never been used) and the water pressure was amazing. Our kids even got to help Jen, feed the alpacas! Overall a 10/10 stay, and if we are up that way again would rebook in a heartbeat.

The breakfast was amazing every morning, and having access to the kitchen made our stay even more comfortable. Mike told us, “This is your holiday, I’ll do the dishes!” — such a kind and generous gesture that really touched us. On some evenings, Mike even cooked extra and invited us to join — those shared meals were heartwarming and unforgettable. Thank you so much, Mike and Jen. We’re really going to miss you! I just checked out of this marvellous place, and everything was perfect. Mike and Jen are so nice and friendly — they made my stay so enjoyable that I regretted staying for only one night. I would have loved to stay longer and explore the area, knowing I’d be coming back to this wonderful place that feels like home. Two gorgeous cats, three funny alpacas, a tasty breakfast, and kind people — what more could one want when looking for a place to stay? For me, it was perfect, and I was so happy it all worked out and I managed to book it. I just wish Mike and Jen all the best and wish that only great people come to their place. So, totally recommend!

Everything and the hosts couldn't do enough for you . Lovely peaceful location only 20 min walk into Healesville village. Breakfast included was lovely including the host cooked poached eggs on toast 👌
