“Wonderful place to stay,”

The private deck was amazing, with the oversize chess set and the hammock. We loved it and regularly had an early dinner up there. The furnishing was beautiful, and the kitchen set up and facilities were really great. We went up for Easter and it was a lovely touch to have chocolate eggs provided.

The photos online didn’t prepare us for the attention to detail, interesting and enchanting decor. The rooftop terrace particularly, being so high from the ground, nestles you in the canopy of the eucalyptus trees surrounding and conveys privacy and serenity. Our family so enjoyed this as well as the multiple places to sit, the board games and feeling of luxury throughout. Omg the plush towels! Very easy walk to everything in Hawks Nest. Beautiful neighbour who gave us tips on the market near the beach on a Saturday morning. We were treated to sharing the surf with multiple pods of dolphins passing by. Even with the rain on our final evening we loved the beach, the community aspect in the surf club bar (byo snacks!), sitting on the roof terrace all cosy with the rain falling around us and staying perfectly dry. There’s an easy walk to the cafe for early morning coffee, a lunchtime dawdle to the pub just off the beach, and a million reasons to stay in and cook dinner just so you can sit in all the lovely places around the apartment and enjoy the aspect. I needed a serious short break from work and feel like I stepped into a little oasis of peace.

We arrived on a hot humid day, so nice to enter a lovely air conditioned unit. The quirky decor was great. We had a couple of kookaburras visit, even coming in for a closer hello. The private roof terrace was a bonus.

A beautifully presented unit with lots of thoughtful and decorative touches. We booked for further two nights as we really enjoyed its proximity to the shops and the beach as well..

the upstairs terrace was wonderful, with a real Balinese feel

good location in hawks nest, had all the amenities and more. highlight was the amazing roof terrace which is private - great place to watch the sunset with a drink. balcony / bbq were also awesome. easy to park. good communication from host.
