Great location, lovely owners and beautiful cottage. Van was a great host, warm welcome with great knowledge on the area. Facilities were perfect, clean and tidy. Fresh eggs, bacon and other treats in the fridge. Home cooked bread on the bench. Bed was comfortable and big. Definitely will be back

Elegantly furnished & rustic country cottage in superb location, 10 minutes from Havelock North village. Hosts were very helpful, friendly & attentive - generously supplied homemade bread, eggs & well stocked pantry.

“A perfect stay in a beautiful place”

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely cottage and regreted not staying longer. We enjoyed the veranda and the singing of the birds which was enormous before sunset. Van gave us good recommandations and it was great to meet him. A place we are happy that we were there.

Stunning, peaceful, comfortable, relaxing, 10/10 will be back. Eggs, bread and bacon in the fridge was such a lovely suprise, owners are lovely people.

Beautiful well presented cottage. Perfect location if you want to get away and chill for a bit but close enough to town if you need. Great hosts, thank you so much for the freshly baked bread and provided breakfast ❤️

“Perfectly peaceful retreat.”

Delightful cottage, very peaceful and quiet. Only 15 minutes from Ocean Beach, which is the most idyllic place, long golden sand and balmy ocean, although you need to be careful about riptides if swimming. Close to Havelock North for shopping and restaurants. Hosts were so helpful, offering advice and sharing local knowledge, and leaving provisions, we had a lovely stay here.

Tom's cottage was delightful. Van and Linda were kind, generous and weloming. We had a most enjoyable stay did not want to leave and hope to come back next year. The views from the cottage veranda and the birdlife are exceptional. The outdoor furniture is worth a mention as few bachs provide such comfortable seating.

The setting was secluded yet not far from town and the views were just beautiful. We enjoyed the large verandah and outdoor furniture. The cottage had a real homely feel, the kitchen was small but adequate, the bathroom was lovely and the bedroom comfortable. The host was super friendly.

Fresh eggs and bread were provided by the hosts. The location of the cottage proved to be excellent.

“Comfy Cottage”

Was a cute comfy older small cottage. Was very quirky but comfortable. The bathroom was very well set out and had a heated towel rail and a good shower. Loved being left a loaf of bread, eggs and fruit etc. Very appreciated. Owner was very friendly. The bed was very comfy. Good heating . A number of fresh flowers were in each room. Parking was just outside and it was a very private location. Great cafe not far from the house

Cute and cosy cottage furnished comfortably. Easy to access with great parking in a lovely quiet rural setting yet close to town and nearby vineyards and bike trails. Breakfast goodies were provided and the fresh flowers were appreciated.
