Wonderful friendly host

“19th century old world french experience”

I loved this place and think the reviews on here are quite harsh . Lets be clear this is a 19th century thatched french country house it is tradition and oldie worldie it has an antique feel like going back in time the floorboards creek and add character to the place it has a huge central open fireplace when you walk in . And there are some amazing oil paintings hanging on the walks just like monet and van goth you would be forgive to think they were originals they were so good all painted by Jose The host Jose couldn’t have done anymore for me i arrived early on a motorcycle he aloud me to check in early at 1030am with no extra charge as the weather was biblical rain it was no day to be outside, he helped carry all my bags to my room and let me park my motorcycle safely round the back of the house out of the way. He even bought me some coffee to my room. Jose was the most kindest host you could possibly desire and his English was far superior to my French . He even laid on a huge breakfast spread in the morning at no extra cost the biggest loaf of bread i have ever seen. I only wish i had more time to enjoy it. It was a great experience staying here and i will always remember jose s hospitality and his wonderful artwork . Thank you Jose i am very grateful . 🙏

Easy to find. Very warm welcome. Spacious, clean room with very comfortable bed. Lovely garden to sit in and free use of the outdoor jacuzzi. Generous breakfast. Conveniently situated for free car park and restaurant.

Very quiet and quaint place, set in nice garden. Jose' very kind and welcoming. Private parking on site. Jose' even gave us an early breakfast since we were leaving to get ferry
