“Amazing experience staying at the yurt”

Amazing experience staying in a yurt. It was clean, well maintained, comfortable and warm. The staff were kind and welcoming, they even managed to handle a very late booking and check in request for us. Breakfast was free and was arranged in another yurt which was very good as well.

The yurt was fantastic and the underfloor heating superb. It was minus 7 or 8 outside and still warm enough.

A lovely stay in a lovely, unique location! The yurt was really nice & a very pleasant surprise was having underfloor heating! Staff were lovely and the breakfast was nice too!! If Im passing theough again I'd happily stay here.

It was a one of a kind experience! It was also a great location to enjoy the dancing Aurora! We loved the breakfast too, as much as we loved Aoife! She radiates happiness and so accommodating!

The place just added so much to an authentic Icelandic experience - we had a rainy and a windy night too, and enjoyed being literally this close to nature (as you can hear all of it "above your head"). A perfect location to roam around in the south too: we visited all the waterfalls, the diamond black beach(near Selfoss) we had like 5 km shore only for ourselves with gigantic waves and a seal(!) family, and Vik town too. Really cozy and warm(floor heating), and if the sky is clear you have a 360-view of the northern lights. Great breakfast, cute host - we loved-loved-LOVED all of it.

Absolutely cozy stay in the middle of the golden circle. It was very clean and warm, even though it was storming outside. Fabulous breakfast and friendly staff and dog.

Very close to the geysir, this exceptional accommodation is set in a truly unique location. It is beautifully furnished, thoughtfully prepared, and wonderfully warm and cozy despite the cold outside. We experienced a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable night under the Northern Lights. The owner is extremely hospitable and incredibly kind, making our stay even more special. “Absolutely loved this accommodation!!!”

Absolutely loved this place!! Was quiet and comfortable and the Yurt was so cosy and warm inside. Excellent for Aurora viewing even though we didn't get lucky. Location is really close to the Great Geysir and the big waterfall. The shower block is close to the yurts, are really clean and so so so hot! I didn't want to get out of the shower. Breakfast is adequate - fruit, toast, cereal and COFFEE! You appreciate anything included in the accommodation price with the outside costs as high as they are in Iceland. Please choose this place if you want to stay in this area, it really is lovely. You wont be sorry!
