“Beautiful and very welcoming”
We had the pleasure of staying at L’ecrin de Graves, and were made very welcome by the hosts Sabrina and Claude. The gardens and pool are very relaxing with amazing view of the river. The breakfast selection was wonderful, and the dinner prepared by Claude was delicious. We hope to return one day and would highly recommend this beautiful house and its hosts.

“A pleasure.”
A pleasure to stay at L'écrin des Gaves. Sabrina & Claude are excellent hosts and they have a beautiful home. The room was large, comfortable and tastefully decorated. They offer excellent food at breakfast with lots of local produce. We pre-booked dinner, cooked by Claude, and it was delicious. The views from the house are exceptional. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay here!

The experience was unbeatable in every way. Claude and Sabrina are great hosts. Highly recommended to dine at the house to enjoy the magnificent dinners prepared by Claude (a real chef) and enjoy interesting and enriching conversation until the evening. The hosts are friendly, fun, open and cultured people, with whom you can talk about any subject. The house is in an absolutely unique setting and the decoration (both indoors and outdoors) is remarkably tasteful. The views towards the river leave you speechless. The peace of the place, the attention to detail and comfort also deserves mention. Both the village of Hastingues and the surrounding villages have been the object of special governmental protection and all urban reforms are respectful of the tradition of the place, in terms of the use of materials, architectural techniques, etc. It is wonderful to discover places where the use of hideous pwc enclosures, aluminum windows trying to imitate wood or metal roofs instead of tiles has not been allowed. The result of this care gives rise to a captivating urban landscape that transports you to another era. This small village, of English origin, concentrates the best of France, or in other words, what we all expect when we visit this magnificent country. I don't think I left out anything important. In short, a 100% recommendable visit.

A stunning and unique stay, perfect for a romantic getaway. Claud’s cooking was beyond exceptional- we loved every single bite and the highlight of our stay. Sabrina was a wonderful source of advice on what to do in the local area.
