Modern, beautiful, comfortable. Sparkling clean. I wish I had more time to really enjoy this place as it was very nice. We had a toddler with us and he loved looking at the sheep in the paddock.

The property is immaculate and finished to a high spec. It is a short drive to Havelock North (5mins), however because it is located on a good size private section complete with a nice outdoor area, you get the feeling you are out in the country and away from the middle of town. Would highly recommend for families or groups that would like a base to explore the Hawkes Bay.

I have mobility issues and there are two accessibility issues. 1. The front deck is too high for an elderly person and needs both a step up to it and a hand rail - that’s probably also true of the back deck. 2. It would be great to have a hand rail in the ensuite shower I think Dunray Cottage should make these changes and advertise itself as an accessible property. If the changes are not made it should alert potential guests to the need to be able to deal with the high step-up required for the decks.

What a gem! Loved the location, the layout was great, very modern and clean and had everything we needed and more. Having a spa pool was great, the sheep were a real hit with the kids. Great outlook and a really lovely place. Will stay again.

Clean and breezy space. All the basics in the kitchen + extras like a small bottle of milk and salt & pepper. Spa was a bonus. TV in lounge and one in each bedroom was great to keep granny, parents and teens all happy ♥.

I loved there communication! They had a warm welcome and were easy to approach. I had to add an extra person to our stay. They messaged back that they were happy with me having an extra person with no extra charge to my stay. For our time spent at this amazing cosy cottage we were neighbours 😊 They didn't hound or bother us not once but we were left with a friendly neighbourly message with there contact details if we should need anything. I loved everything from the inside of there home all the way to the sheep in the backyard hahaha you thought of everything!! Nice warm homely touch away from home. Top marks with the cleanliness 100% ✓ My father who was apart of this trip is a chef an his exception level of what he calls "clean" is very high and he was very impressed. I would like to thank you both very much for being the greatest to deal with. Keep doing exactly what you both are doing!! Your home is beautiful. From my family to urs.. We are greatful to have enjoyed and experienced "Dunray Cottage"🙏🏆🥇

Location, Outlook, pet sheep, bed a++++ comfort. Kitchen, living and outdoor area amazing, really loved the smart tvs in each bedroom.
