The bus from Ulaanbaatar drops you off at the town “bus station”, and the guest house picks you up — great service and very convenient. The guest house itself is on the outskirts of town, but it’s only a short walk to a couple of supermarkets that also have small restaurants attached. The room was a little cosy, though we did have a private bathroom. The hot water and water pressure were just about adequate. The bathroom itself felt somewhat cramped and would benefit from a better shower curtain. On the positive side, the bedroom had lovely views. Breakfast was fairly basic and not really to my taste, although others seemed to enjoy it. The guest house also offers trips and is very helpful with anything you need to make your visit to the area as pleasant as possible.

GGaya and gajun are great and friendly hosts that helped answered many of our queries and contacting our airbnb host when we had trouble. The guest house was very clean even the shared toilet. We especially liked the private rooms we booked as the bed was more comfortable and warm. Its a short distance away from the monastery and the supermarket , very accessible and transport from the bus station with gaya. We also liked the tour to mini gobi esp the camel ride with the nomadic family which is more special than the typical ones dones only at the sand duen area. Highly recommend to stay!

The guest house is extremely clean even the shared toilet. We stayed one night in the private shower room which had very comfortable beds and one night in a room with shared toilet. Gaya and gajun are very friendly and helpful hosts, they answered many of my questions and helped contact our aibnb host when we couldn't reach them. The tour we booked to mini gobi was great as well and we liked that camel tour was done by a nomadic family through the sand dune and valley instead of the typical ones done at the sand dune only (which we heard is not the most ethical). The tour ended off with homecooked dinner at a nomadic family. Highly recommended to stay!

Great hostel owned by a lovely family. Good value for money, homey, cozy common area and nice rooms. It’s very clean and spacious and the showers are hot (which has been rare in Mongolia). Close to the city center. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved it so much, Gaya is the best, she is incredibly kind and she takes really good care of her guests, it's for sure a place to chill, enjoy, and meet new people. She offers tours around Kharkhorum which makes it even nicer as you don't need to plan anything on your own.

The guesthouse has a nice common room to meet other travellers and share meals. The rooms are comfortable and the staff very helpful and organised. They offer tours such as horse riding and visit to the mini Gobi. Great communication before arrival and pick up from the bus station. It is walkable to all the main sites around town and there is a nearby supermarket.

Bit overhyped place.. location bit far from centre.. Owners bit money oriented rather than neutraly friendly.. average breakfast.. Common area is closed at 10 pm..

“Perfect place for a few days of rest”

This guesthouse has 22 years of tradition and You can see it. They have perfected everything. Very informative, well organised, easy to navigate, clearly stated expectations on guest behaviour (which I appreciate). The family that runs the place is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They are always happy to advise and assist. The place is very clean (thoroughly cleaned every morning), kept, water is hot, sheets are spotless, blankets warm. Drinking water and hot water with coffee and tea are available in the mess room the whole day. Wifi works great. Breakfasts are excellent, having an egg, toast with butter and jam, and a nice dish which changes every day—during my stay we had Olivier, Vinegret, and a nice pasta dish. There is an outside kitchen where You can cook. You need Your own Mongolian-type gas cartridge, which is sold everywhere for less than a dollar. Pots and other utensils are available. There is also a small fridge, microwave, and toaster. There's a lot of parking space, and a small porch where You can park bicycles.

Gaya was great. An excellent base for travel in central Mongolia. We stayed there twice and also booked a horse trip through them. Highly recommended

The staff are amazing, Gaya and the team are constantly improving every day and have amazing service.. They can nearly organise everything for you in the area as well.
