We had a whole apartment with bedroom (very good beds). living room and kitchen. It was very quiet even though close to a train station. The owner was amazing - she thought of all needs of her guests from stuff in bathroom to a large selection at breakfast. The house also had a beautiful garden. Even better the town in the summer has great air balloon displays …

Everything about the property was excellent. We were on motorcycles and were told we could use the car port to park which is really handy and secure. Location was 1 minute from train, but not noisey and 5 mins from town and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. Due to road closures we arrived late but the keys were hidden for us and entry was simple. Really close to the TT circuit at Assen.

We agreed on the time of arrival and the keys were simply handed over.

The B&B is excellent value for money, and it is clear that the hosts take a lot of pride in what they offer. Some of the decor is a little dated, but it is the abundance of little extras that make this B&B stand out. Things like finding a stroopwafel to have with coffee when we got back to the room, or the wide selection of condiments offered with the breakfast. There is a huge amount of space and it feels more like staying at a friend's place than a commercial property. The location by the station is good, and within easy reach of the main amenities in town. I was also stunned at how reasonable the "mini bar" prices were. It's a small assortment but there is no price gouging here. I even had the feeling the owners were not making anything on the offers, but just provided it as a convenience to their guests.

The apartment is very nice, it has all things that you need for your stay. Host is very friendly and kind. The breakfast was nice. They provided many additional things like several type of teas, coffee etc. Free car parking!

This accommodation is exceptional , very comfortable , opposite train station yet no noise from the trains and the area is quiet. A great Wi-Fi connection. And the hosts are kind and helpful .
