“What a hidden gem! Absolutely amazing place. Visit before it becomes overcrowded ;)”
What a gem!!! 💎 This place deserves a visit even if you don't have any business in the area! It was spotless clean, all the necessary amenities were there, the internet was fast, the kitchen was very convenient, the welcoming common room, a cozy bed, with fluffy covers... all simply perfect! The bath is also huge, so even though it's not an onsen, you can feel like at one. There is a really nice park 5 mins away, so don't miss to visit it. And a cherry on the top if the cake: the owner is super nice, very helpful, just a kind of a person that you like to meet during your journey. Him and his wife invited me for a tea ceremony at their home, and we made soba noodles together and so much more! As a foreigner, I was delighted to get to know some real Japan in a very authentic way - and I am telling this as a person who visited Japan more than 3 times now! Absolutely the best, if you're thinking of booking - do it, you won't regret it!

The chair and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The hosts are very nice and helpful too. And kitchen is available.

The hostel was easy to find with the given instructions, the facilities clean, the room spacious and the bed was comfortable. The host was welcoming and even showed me around the area next day. a wonderful stay, i will definetly come back! Arigato!

“Wonderful experience”
Fantastic japanese house run by wonderful couple. Free coffee and tea at disposal for the guests. Nearby there is a supermarket where you can buy o-bento. My room was spacious and clean.

“I had an amazing weekend in Minamisōma.”
It might not be the most conventional place to go to but it's a place where you can make great experiences. The culture and the history of Minamisōma are very interesting to discover. There are museums around to show you vividly. The city is close to the sea and surrounded by mountains. In autumn the colors of the trees are beautiful.

The rooms were good, the description of facilities was accurate. but what made our stay exceptional was the hospitality that we received from the owners. They were incredibly welcoming hosts and we had tea with them in the morning. had a lovely stay - would recommend!
