“Unique experience for any nature lover”
Had a magical stay and everything I was looking for at Bambara Agro Resort and Eco lodge! If you’re looking to immerse yourself in nature and have an authentic experience, this is the place for you. The location is stunning, surrounded by lush green forest and mountains, on a little hill side with cultivated fields. Confortable tent with its own bathroom and shower (no hot water). The food and juice they serve you are fresh from the garden. The staff were super friendly, genuine and accommodating. Special mention to Shamila! I highly recommend to anyone who love nature or would like to try to reconnect with it!

Bambara Ella Agro Resort and Camping Tony and I (from the UK) visited this location, and it is breathtakingly beautiful. Bambarakanda is surrounded by 25-acre hills covered with trees and vines. A stream of clean water flows around the property. There are thousands of birds around, and the area is designed in an environmentally friendly manner. In the center of the paddy field are five naturally arranged cabanas with all amenities. Tree plantations and organic crop fields can be found everywhere. In addition to the cabanas, there is a facility with approximately six modern rooms. The employees are extremely nice, and we will never forget the treats they gave us. We can prepare both local and western dishes as needed. The flavor of the food surprised us. They instantly prepare Sri Lankan dishes such as hoppers and string hoppers. There are no words to express how we were treated by the staff, including Chamara and Sathsara. If you are an environmentalist or a bird watcher, this is the place for you. We had a good time at night with the bonfire and Karaoke music. We had a great time beyond our expectations. A must-visit destination. Highly recommended.

“One of the best experiences you can possibly have in this beautiful country of Sri Lanka.”
Am told that the owner, while operating an agricultural business, loves nature and leaves the majority of the extensive land to nature. The rock pools in the river are perfect for swimming and the waterfall on the property is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in Sri Lanka.
