“Good location, good value.”
This is a small studio style flat on the 18th floor in a typical Chinese tower block. We booked 2 nights. The flat was clean, well equipped and the communication with the owner was excellent. She gave us very good instructions for finding the key, negotiating the 2 security doors etc. Her collection of books and DVDs is interesting. We also found it super interesting to see how the Chinese live. The old folk in the building were really friendly and chatted to us as we were coming and going.

The owner is gentle and conscientious. She makes good efforts to prepare everything to satisfy the customers' needs. A cozy room that is very value for money. Recommend for those who also want to taste the living of the local people.

“Good location and very helpful host”
Location was very good as the place is near food places and the metro. The view from the 18th floor was nice. I had the whole place to myself, a studio, which is just what I like. I could use the washing machine, the kitchen etc. Most of all, the hostess was very kind, helpful, and responsive. I enjoyed staying there very much.

I really liked the place! Hangzhou is a very beautiful city and after walking and riding by bike around Westlake I found this was a good apartment to relax after long days. There is an extensive DVD collection you could watch in the evenings and the bed is big and comfortable. Lan Yu was a very nice host - we never met physically but the communication was very easy and helpful.
