“The best guesthouse on this local island”

First and foremost, this is local island. NOT resort. If you are not familiar - than google the difference. The island is questionable (read more in cons), but the guesthouse is perfect. The guesthouse's owner is the most respectful and helpful person, who helped with tranfer from/to airport (which costs 40$ per person one way and lasts 1 hour 10 minutes). By the way, you cant arrange speedboat yourself, only guesthouse's owner can do it. Furthermore, the owner offers Excursion Book which includes excurions (picnic island, sand bank picnic, dream island picnic), cruising (dolphin, sunset romantic), fishing (sunset, sunrise, big game), snorkeling (safari, turtle, manta, whale shark), day visits to resorts, romantic dinner, kayaking and sup-serf, jet ski rides, diving. Not to forget to mention, his wife cooks dinners which are amazing. Speaking of food: I strongly recommend to book the room with breakfest and dinners because the restaurants/cafes on the island are terrible. Seriously, it's awful in all meanings. If you booked the room only with breakfest, you can still have dinner in guesthouse - it will cost +15$ per person/day. The dinner and breakfest place is well designed very close to beach. Room cleaning was perfect. Guesthouse has its own beach, though you can only snorkel there because of the reef (check google maps). No sunbeds or suntents. You can take bycicles, mask and finns, life jackets.

“A very relaxing few days”

We loved exploring the local island and learning about the Maldivian culture. All the food was very good and there was a good variety and more than we could eat. Excursions were offered and arranged depending on the weather. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach garden in front of the hotel is very beautiful and relaxing.

Very friendly host and good staff. Breakfast was served as buffet with local and continental dishes. Next to the guesthouse snorkeling at the slope of the reef was amazing.

I liked everything about this guesthouse. The location, the bikini beach, the hosts were very lovely and the service was excellent. It was probably our favourite local island in south Ari atoll (we visited five). Snorkelling at the end of the reef was very nice, it holds lots of life. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Fathu, Fatima, Siddhu and Alom, you were great! And yes I can confirm, Fatima is an excellent cook! :D

We stayed 5 nights at the Ocean Beach inn. We loved the location; it has a small beach adjacent to the hotel and to our opinion it is on the best side of the island for snorkeling. Also the beach garden has a very nice atmosphere. Dinner was good and affordable. We did two of the special dinners (sunset BBQ and romantic beach dinner) and both were great experiences! The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

“Unforgetable romantic holiday”

The staff is very friendly, they are willing to take the extra step to make the holiday for their guests unforgettable. It's a quiet island and not many tourists are found. There are many nice activities that ocean beach inn offers for a good price. 10/10 would recommend the dinner, it's freshly made and romantic near the beach.

The room is not small . There is a big terrace. It’s very clean. The WiFi works great. The hotel is located on the seafront.

“The best hosts ever in a perfect beachfront paradise”

If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful stay in the Maldives you've found your place! This was by far the best booking we've ever had. Fathu and his family were incredibly hospitable and the property is just charming. Fathu arranged an airport pickup for us and he personally came to meet us at the harbor of Hangnaameedhoo. Also our luggage was picked up by a car so we didn‘t have to carry anything. After showing us the property, he gave us a walking tour of island and he told us a about the culture, the people, the different spots and lot of valuable information which came very handy during our stay. Fathu and his very friendly and charming family took amazing care of us and they were always around if we had any questions or requests. Fathu's wife Fatima prepares amazing meals and she looked after our three month old baby during meals or if we wanted to go snorkeling together without even asking. The island is very peaceful and has a nice bikini beach, however we've found that the best and most convenient snorkeling spot is right in front of the property. We had so much fun not only as a family but also as a couple and it was one of our best holidays for sure!

If you are looking for a beautiful and unforgettable holiday, the Ocean Beach Inn is the place to be. You are picked up at the harbour and taken to your accommodation. There, you are greeted in the friendliest way with a cocktail. There is nothing to complain about in the room. Very clean and very well equipped. The room is cleaned every day and any problems are dealt with immediately. The food in particular is an absolute dream. Fathu's wife is an excellent cook. There were new dishes every day, including traditional Maldivian dishes. The food was freshly cooked every day. Above all, there was fresh fish, which was prepared absolutely delicately. Also to be mentioned is the very good service by Raj. His motto is "if the guest is happy, I am happy" and he gives everything for that. There was never a moment when he was not there for us. Questions and wishes were answered or fulfilled immediately. Raj was also always present during the excursions and looked after us very well and lovingly. There were no wishes left unfulfilled. The communication before the trip was also very good. We never had the impression of being left alone. We would also like to thank Fathu, who also made every effort to make our holiday unforgettable. We can absolutely recommend the Ocean Beach Inn.
