Superb locationand very friendly and helpful host. Wolfgang, the owner, reach out once our booking is confirmed to arrange our airport pick up. When we arrived, welcome drinks and warm talks helped us to get to know the local a bit better. Very nice breakfast, Freshly prepared in the morning and beautifully presented! By the way, do you ask Wolfgang for recommendation of restaurants. The two he recommended was very very good. Do try the local tuna, Surprisingly good! There are small moais in our garden😂

Great place, right in the heart of Hanga Roa. Wolfgang, the owner, is super kind and helpful. The garden is so lovely, too! Breakfast was perfect, home made, abundant, natural, fresh. Hotel Taura'a is definitely a good choice!

I truly enjoyed my stay at this wonderful property. Everything was impeccably clean, and the traditional style of the structure gave a real sense of authenticity and charm. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful—making the experience even more special. The location was also excellent, allowing easy access to the main areas of Hanga Roa while still offering peace and quiet. A perfect balance of comfort, culture, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

“A wonderful stay in a beautiful place- we thought we were in paradise!”

The hotel was clean, comfortable and ideally placed. Our room was spacious and there were plenty of places to sit outside. The gardens were well tended. Breakfast, cooked on demand, was fabulous. Fresh, tasty and more than ample portions. Edith, our host was delightful. She and her staff are friendly and happy to help at any time.

Iorana! My stay at Taura'a was great for many reasons. Edith the host of the place was so friendly, caring and helpful! Her breakfasts were delicious, filling and vegetarian/vegan friendly! The room was spacious and cleaned every day, bed cozy and the bathroom well-equipped. The hotel had a unique atmosphere with its all artistic wooden sculptures and flower decorations. The location was so close to a bakery, market, restaurant and many souvenir shops and tourist attractions. One could easily reach a coastal path and go for a walk to see nearby town moais spread on the way and reach Ahu Tahai. Mauruuru for this experience!

Edith the owner is 5star amazing! She greets you like a long lost member of her family. You immediately feel you belong. The breakfasts she prepares are delicious all the fruit comes from her own garden. The layout and grounds are beautiful. And she organised for us to have our own guide, Zoe-her niece, who was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for better. We are already planning a return trip!

Beautiful grounds, terrific location, and Edith was so pleasant! For a last-minute change to our itinerary, Edith was accommodating and willing to do whatever was needed to make our stay amazing. The room was comfortable and we especially appreciated the fresh juices she created, they were delicious!
