Location was great just off the Main Street of Hanga Roa. Our host Patricia was wonderful!! Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed was comfy.

We had a lovely stay at this small cabaña. Adequate kitchen area and bathroom, good bed, good AC and a pleasant balcony with an avocado tree as closest neighbour. The owner Patricia was a jewel with her positive spirit and good advice on everything. The communication with her was really good before our stay as well.

We had a lovely stay here. Patricia is a fabulous host who goes above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time in Rapa Nui. The cabañas are cosy and very clean and walking distance to everything in Hanga Roa. They come complete with kitchenette, small shower room and seating area downstairs and bedroom and balcony upstairs. We really felt looked after during our stay, thank you so much Patricia!

“Wonderful homebase to explore Rapa Nui”

The Cabanas Te Maori is ideally located just a short walk from the stores and restaurants of the main street. It is fully equipped if you wish to cook your own meals. The owner, Patricia, goes the extra mile to care for all possible needs, from help with booking tours to advice about the island. We very much enjoyed our 8 nights at the Cabanas and hope to return another year.

Excellent location in Hanga Roa, not far away from Ahu Tahai to watch sunsets. Everything is a just a couple of minutes away - markets, shops, restaurants. WiFi is reliable and fast enough. First floor with beds can be a little hot but AC works perfectly. Terrace is shady, nice place to rest after tours around island. We just enjoyed the possibilities of our own kitchen. Patricia is such a nice host, she provided most info about the town we needed, upon arrival she picked us up at the airport and took us on a short town tour. Before coming she arrange several tours for us and took us to the airport when we were leaving this beautiful island.

This is very centrally placed and the host Patricia will do anything to make you feel welcome including transport to/from the airport.

I couldn't edit the review. I forgot to mention in my previous review that internet works poorly or not at all at times. My prepaid mobile card worked better and all the time, so it's not an issue of the island.

“A perfect spot on a spectacular island!”

Communication was great leading up to our stay. The cabana was centrally located yet quiet. Nice to have kitchen facilities and a/c. Beautiful little setting. Tito was especially helpful during our stay!

Patricia, our host, made this property the best! She was always responsive to my emails and questions, picked us up from the airport and toured us around town to help us locate key sights, and went the extra mile to meet our every need - she even opened her home for me to access the internet for a business meeting. She checked in each day and offered suggestions for whatever we needed or wanted to do. The location is the other great attribute - we were walking distance from just about everything, other than some of the distant ruins. Great restaurants and sights, including the perfect sunset location are 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The room was clean and so comfortable. A great kitchen with the supplies we needed for coffee, tea and simple meals. Loved the upstairs loft bedroom and balcony for morning coffee. Truly a special place and highly recommend it - would stay there again in a minute!

We loved our stay at Te Māori - the cabin is fantastic, very clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need- the balcony is lovely to sit on throughout the day! Pattie is an incredible host- always on hand for help and advice and to make sure you have all you need. She helped us to organise tours, to visit the show and to navigate the island. She was even kind enough to pick us up and return us to the airport and to give us a brief tour around the town. Great location as well- easy to wander to town and to the harbour, and along the coast. Highly recommend and we will definitely return! Thank you so much Pattie!!! :)
