The location is really excellent, right on the shore a small beach is just a few steps away. Restaurants, shop and the centre is all really close. The hosts are really kind, they picked us up and dropped off at the airport.

Transfer from the airport was included. Warm welcome by Lynn. Set back from the main road Cabin is centrally located in the centre near restaurants & main activities. Arranged my tours with Kevin Lynn’s partner who is a qualified tour guide. Meaning time of tour with smaller group was more personalised. Stayed 3 nights which is recommended.

“Exceptional experience with Kevin and Lynn”

We have been traveling around the South Pacific for two months and this is absolutely one of our top experiences. The bungalow was great: spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Bed was comfy, shower large and warm (and even provided with conditioner!) We were also very happy with the location in the middle of Hanga Roa, at close walking distance to all kinds of restaurants. Maybe a 15 minute walk from the ‘sunset moai’. The best of all though, were Kevin and Lynn. Exceptionally friendly hosts, with 12 awesome cats to top it off. We went around the island with Kevin for two days and we learned so much from him about its history and tradition. His stories added a ton of value. He speaks excellent English and is so passionate about Rapa Nui. We could not have wished for a better few days.

“Comfy stay with water views”

Great little cabin - simple, but with everything you need. Easy access to the water and the centre of town, but quiet location. Lynn and Kevin are lovely hosts - really good communication and helpful tips. Kevin’s tour was brilliant and one of the highlights of my trip to Chile. Highly recommend.

“A home away from home”

Kitai Cabanas was an amazing place to stay. It felt like this was the real start to my holiday and I really loved Easter Island. Accommodation is in a great location right across from the seafront, very close to a number of nice restaurants and approx 5min walk to the main streets of Hanga Roa (and the shops). I stayed in the front property which had a small balcony with table and chairs. it was large and clean and has a small fridge and gas hob for cooking (I didn’t use this). Bathroom was clean and the shower pressure was good. The tv channels didn’t appear to be working but that didn’t matter as I preferred to use Netflix anyway. Lynn and Kevin were lovely hosts and also include airport pickup and drop off which was very handy.

“Excellent stay”

Excellent location; great Cabanas and WiFi is working very well. Kevin and Lynn are just incredible! They come to pick you up at the airport; provide all the info to have a great stay and are always available to help. The tour with Kevin is highly recommended and potentially the best activity you can do! He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his island! Overall an excellent place run by a very friendly couple!

Great location close to the port, cabin with the ocean view, quite spacious. Basic kitchen equipment, large bed. I got some recommendations for restaurants and other places to visit. The owner is also a certified guide so I used his services to visit the statues and the island.

“Perfect for a Rapa Nui stay”

It’s a cosy home stay across the road from the ocean. Had everything we needed for 4 nights on Rapa Nui - we loved sitting on the front deck after each day & being able to make a coffee in the morning to drink in bed. Lynn & Kevin were great hosts.

“would totally recommend if coming to Easter Island”

This is the perfect place to stay if coming to Easter Island. The cabana is great, clean, well equipped and right in the center of Hanga Roa, next to the beach and with plenty of restaurants around. Kevin and Lynn are awesome young hosts- we did all the tours with Kevin who is also a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He showed us all around the island. i can’t forget about the cats that also were very friendly and great hosts. this have been the perfect way to spend time in Easter Island and I would recommend to anyone!

The host couple Kevin & Lynn did an amazing job making you feel great during your stay. I can only recommend using Kevin as local tour guide also - he is great, nice and kind. Knows where to go and when to beat the crowds. Everything was good at the property. Great location. Well supplied. Everything was working.

“Amazing place, fantastic island, wonderful owners”

One of our favourite properties we’ve ever stayed at. A simple, comfy and cosy cabin. Minutes walk from the Pea pool where you can see turtles. Airport pickup and drop off is included. The owners are lovely genuine people. So gutted we only stayed 2 nights, could easily do a week here. Easter Island is the best place you’ll ever visit.

Location and privacy. Kevin was also our guide and he is very knowledgeable. His speaks good English. Kevin and Lynn went out of their way to help us when our flight back to Santiago got cancelled. They picked us up from the airport and helped us to obtain a bed for the night.

Fantastic location - just a couple of minutes walk from the main street, half a minute from the coast and many restaurants. Lynn was helpful and friendly and picked us up and dropped us at the airport.

We stayed 7 days at Cabana Kitai and loved every minute. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless clean. The location is absolutely perfect - it is right in the center still is is peaceful and quiet. There are restaurants around the corner and a little coffee shop where you can buy breakfast. The natural swimming pool in the sea is just across the street. Kevin and Lynn are excellent hosts, they are very friendly, helpful, speak good english and Kevin is probably the best guide you can get on Rapa Nui.
