Our stay at this hostel was exceptional, both for its location with stunning sunset views over the ocean and for the amazing staff. Everything went incredibly smoothly and professionally, and my mom and I truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.

“It can only be described as terrible.”
The only redeeming feature is the view from the front of the house; everything else is less than ideal.The residence is quite far from the main street, about a 15-20 minute walk, which can be tiring in hot weather. The building facilities are aged.

Everything! The staff are so friendly and Patricio is amazing! He picked us up from the airport and gave us a tour of Hanga Roa, then went through all the sites on the island giving us info on which tours to take and how to get to places. The hostal location is perfect. Right on the coast with incredible, daily sunsets. Ou rroom was large, the bed really comfortable and the kitchen was incredible. This place has everything and helped make our week long stay on Rapa Nui perfect.

“Memorable, enjoyable and fun - one of life's great experiences.”
We were met at the airport and transfer to the accommodation was flawless, with a mini-guided tour of Hanga Roa en-route, which was really helpful. Location was a short distance from the centre (about 1.5km - 25min stroll), with bars, restaurants and shops closer by. Accommodation check-in was easy and quick and it didn't take long to settle in. Bedroom was spacious with a big comfy bed and an en-suite WC and shower. Kitchen and fridge facilities are shared and and worked well and there is a communal dining area and lounge. We did a couple of shopping trips, self-catered for breakfast & evening meal and ate out for lunch. Local prices are very reasonable and it worked great. It was nice to sit out under the porch watching the sunset with a small beer in hand. We hired a cheap car for a day, hassle-free through the owners and also took their recommendation for a tour-guide, which also worked really well. Accommodation was comfortable, homely, extremely reasonably priced and I would have no hesitation in going back.

“Beyond excellent accommodation with an awesome sea and sunset view”
This accommodation is beyond excellent. The owners are lovely, always willing to help. The airport transfer was a brilliant extra. The view from the hostel is exceptional, very few hotels/hostels in the town look out over the sea. Lots of areas to relax and enjoy the view and sunset. I also met lots of very lovely people which made my time on the island even more enjoyable. Please don’t even think twice about booking this amazing hostel, you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely loved the location of this beautiful property. It felt so homely and was made to feel very welcome. I stayed in the mixed dorm which was very comfortable. We were so close to town town and was was able to walk around safely even at night on my own.

It’s a ten minute walk from town, but worth it for the view from the room. As far as Rapa Nui accommodation goes, it’s great value for money. Another plus is the kitchen attached to the shared dormitory. Finally, the owners went above and beyond—I forgot my phone charger and adaptor in the room, panicked, and Jimena rushed it to me at the airport. I can’t thank her enough.
