A clean budget hotel near Hanau West station and the town centre. Breakfast was excellent ( though not cheap ) and was served at their sister hotel round the corner.

The location is good as it is only a short walk from the statue of the brothers Grimm. Unfortunately the street was under construction, which made it somewhat difficult to get to our destination. This is not the problem of the property, though they could have informed the travellers beforehand (with a map or instructions). The room has all the listed facilities and is reasonable for the cost.

“Pleasant stay in interesting town”
Great breakfast, buffet style taken in the main hotel. Large room, basic but adequate. There are stairs no lift. This is an annex above a steak house - you need to go around the corner to the main hotel, which has a seated statue of one of the Grimm Brothers outside, to collect your key, Very near the bus station, market and town centre. Hanau has a direct S-Bahn line to the airport and is a major rail hub so good public transport.

“Night in Hanau”
We booked this hotel last minute for a business trip to Frankfurt. We slept in this Dependance of the "zum Riesen" Hotel which is around the corner. You have to check in in the main hotel, where you also have the breakfast. The staff is professional and helpful and this main hotel looks good. BUT! There is a balcony, which makes up for this. For smoker,.... Yes you can on the balcony ☺️ This hotel is OK for a one night business trip. The breakfast was very good and regularly filled up. All in all, recommended when you need to be a night in Hanau.
