Amazing views of the lake, staff are super friendly and food is delicious. Will definitely be back again soon

The great location overlooking the lake

We had a lovely stay - the room was very clean and comfortable, with a view towards the lake and access to terrace to sit in. The staff was amazing and accommodated a late check in / helped with an early breakfast to allow us to get to the airport on time. We did not have the time to explore the Neighborhood much but there seem to be many possibilities for hikes etc. Very convenient if you are on your way to the airport, just 1h30 away.

Nice clean room with a separate entrance, great view. All the meals we tried were really tasty, good prices on the stay, food, and drinks.

The restaurant was very good having an excellent choice of food and was clearly in much use by locals - a good sign. Many tables had a view over the lake. The staff were friendly and efficient, especially the Ukrainian lady who booked us in, took our meal order and checked us out the following morning.

Nice room, well organised. Nice area to sit outside as we had a dog with us. Food was good and easy to bring down to eat outside our room.

“Awesome Norway Send-Off”

This property is exactly what it claims to be, a Motel, but the view it offers is anything but pedestrian. We stayed here on our last night in Norway to drive to Oslo Airport from here to catch our 10 am flight. After having had 11 days of stunning views we were thrilled not to miss out on the last day the view from the sit-out was gorgeous and we walked down the slope to the water's edge to relax at a strategically located bench, there was also a picnic table here. The rooms are basic but have all the amenities including tea/coffe making facilities. The Motel restaurant offers a good variety of reasonable meals. Our check-in was in the Motel restaurant, it was a pleasant experience. Since we needed to leave by 6.30am to get to the airport. they were very kind to give us breakfast at 6.15am, a wonderful breakfast it was too. Excellent value for money this place.

Beautiful location by frozen lake - short drive to the Norefjell ski area
