“Out of the way gem.”

The staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic onsen. This place is a little out of the way but we had a car, so no problem for us to get there and drive the short distance into town. Heaps of free parking. Very large room with view from large window. We only stayed one night driving from Kyoto to Fujisawa. We agreed we would stay 3 nights next time.

“Best Onsen so far!”

The onsen has multiple pools of hot water. I felt reborn every time I used it. Tattoos are not allowed but they sell stickers to cover them up. The onsen is inside as outside. Very relaxing. Very friendly staff. We had an amazing stay! I really recommend this! 🤩🙌✨

“Perfect for our needs during a long stay.”

Excellent, expansive rooms, and a very relaxing feel throughout. The free drinks in the lounge was a nice touch, and provided a buzzing space to use after the onsen. The location was excellent for us as we have relatives living close by, but some guests might need to rely on a car. The hotel bus service was much appreciated (last bus from Maisaka Station was 5pm).

“Fantastic”

The onsen was fantastic. The staff were very helpful Free shuttle bus to local train station. Lobby services were great. Room was huge and very comfortable

The free shuttle bus to Maisaka station was good as you were able to get Hamamatsu in ten minutes. Complimentary drinks and snacks in the lounge from 3pm to 6pm and then again at 9pm was a bonus.The room was spacious and very clean. We only had breakfast there and it was exceptional. The staff were always friendly and tried to help where they could.

Fantastic food, foyer looked impressive, free nibbles and alcohol between 3&6 in the lounge

Very spacious room and the general manager made us feel very welcome, nice touch with the free drink and nibbles

If one likes to get almost authentic experience for the 70' or likes Shining movie, this is the place to be. Breakfast was very good.

Old hotel with reconstructed first floor only Reception and Onsen are very well maintained and Upgraded Hotel rooms have yet to be renovated, expected better rooms for 4* hotel and price

Location is excellent at beautiful Lake Hamana. I will definitely come here again.
