An amazing hotel. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Christoph, the owner of the hotel, is a wonderful person whom we got to know, and he made us feel at home. Everything was perfect, including the meals. A magical place that we would be very happy to return to in the future.

“A wonderful hotel with friendly staff”
Wonderful staff - friendly and very helpful. Excellent suggestions for sightseeing possibilities. The room was spotless and was beautifully serviced each day. The room was large and comfortable, with good facilities and a lovely little balcony. The breakfast was good. A nice touch was the handwritten slate with our names on the assigned breakfast table. The waiting staff were attentive and very pleasant. It was also impressive that the owner personally greeted us at breakfast.

“Perfect hotel for a short motorcycle tour”
Spacious room, very quiet in a separate building behind the hotel. Free parking, very good breakfast en restaurant! Not to mention the staff, very very friendly and helpfull! Would go back there!

“Really excellent stay.”
Clean, well maintained, good mattress and sheets, fast internet, location, free parking and top quality front desk and staff. Restaurant is good too. Had an injury in nearby ski resort. Staff very caring.

“Fantastic hotel and hosts”
A wonderful hotel with fantastic hosts who couldn't do enough for us. The food was amazing and mostly homemade. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It was a shame we were only staying for 3 nights.

“True example of genuine hospitality”
We stayed a long weekend with 5 couples of friends at Hotel Sauerländer Hof, and the whole experience surpassed our expectations. The staff was genuinely friendly and made all wishes possible, were efficient and pro-active. A true example of hospitality. Food was excellent - breakfast with various choices, all using fresh ingredients - even possibility to make own and fresh vegetable juices. Dinner was excellent as well, with various options (meat, fish, vegetarian). Rooms were nicely refurbished and very comfortable - excellent sleeping comfort. great bathroom. Own storage room for bikes.
