“Sufficient but could do better”

Nice hotel and Harris, the Bellman was ex optional. Parking garage was clean and felt safe. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

“Halifax business hotel”

Location is great for parks and downtown. Its a relatively short walk to the waterfront. Beds were super comfy. Breakfast was decent

The hotel had a lovely old-world charm with plenty of character and history. The location was excellent, with easy walking access to the waterfront, restaurants and bars. Our room had a nice outlook and was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two large suitcases. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.

A free upgrade to a king size bed was much appreciated 😊 very cozy bed. The close location in downtown makes it very walkable. Free laundry on site. Friendly staff.

“Great place to stay in Halifax”

Very clean room, comfortable bed. We only had a view of a flat roof from our window though. Good facilities within the room, tea/coffee maker, refrigerator, free bottled water, and a range of toiletries. There is a restaurant on site and we had some lovely meals. Nice decoration in a lovely, old and grand looking hotel. Underground parking available. Good location in Halifax and walkable to most things including the harbourfront. The hotel concierge/doorperson is a gem and a fountain of knowledge.

“Gorgeusly comfy”

Vibes are great, the lobby is beautiful and our room was nicely designed. Room service and staff were great, super fast and friendly. We didn't eat at the Arms but have heard great things, maybe next time. Very comfortable bed (although my husband did mention the pillows being a weird shape lol). Some construction being done but it didn't disrupt our stay in any way which was lovely. Convenient parking in a great location for our purposes.

Beautiful old hotel, retained original character yet offered modern amenities. Location was perfect for our needs: near the QE II and local shops and eateries. The Public Gardens is across the street but the snow made that impossible to visit.

Beautiful hotel! Petite room was great for the two of us.

It was an historic stay at Christmas . time. I loved the Arms atmosphere. The staff helped with parking and Ubers. Thanks for making my stay special. I will come here again and stay longer.

loved the European charm, Breakfast at The Arms was great. lovely staff. No carpet in the rooms, only under the bed ( this was the best!!!!). Do not remember if they had heated floors but the room was nice and cosy, also had a comfy blanket!
