A warm, cosy and unique house, owned and run by a lovely mother and son. Rooms are big and warm, and the attached restaurant has excellent sashimi and sushi bowls. The Concrete bar is like a little piece of Tokyo nightlife in sleepy Hakuba - great fun.

The staff is extremely kind and welcoming and they are always there to help. Just let them know if you need a ride to the ski resort (or any other need!) the night before and they will make their best effort to arrange it for you. Both the Japanese and the Western breakfast were homemade and with a lot of options, and of course exceptionally tasty. The kaisendons for dinner are also not to be missed. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Staff were really nice and go over and beyond to make you feel comfortable! Restaurant was also reasonable price with amazing food, no reservations needed. Over the New Year's they also have a mochi making class, which was lots of fun! The in-house warm bath was also great after a long day of skiing

Lovely owners/family who were incredibly kind and generous, offering us lifts several times. Lift passes can be purchased at the property for a discounted price. The property is located about a 10-15 minute walk from Escal Plaza, which can feel a little long in boots, but it’s really not too bad. There is a shuttle in the morning and at the end of the day to get to/from Escal Plaza, but you’ll need to walk if your plans don’t align with the shuttle time.

The property amenities are what you expect for the price, also lack of a private ensuite was tough. HOWEVER, the staff were exceptional in particular the beautiful receptionist lady who went above and beyond with her service and efforts to make it feel like home and for that reason I RATE THIS 11/10

It’s very quaint and authentic, good size rooms, great breakfast and very friendly helpful staff. Great bath for relaxing after a hard day skiing. Both restaurants on site serve fantastic traditional food at a reasonable price for the area.

The people who own and run the property are so kind and thoughtful, they drew us our train schedule to Osaka and offered and dropped us off at Hakuba St. The loveliest people, the accomadation is warm cosy and perfect for our first time in Hakuba and even has a restaurant in the hotel serving the most delish food. Can’t be more grateful or recommend this place enough a real highlight of our Japan trip

Japanese style pension with good food options and comfy beds.I was travelling alone and found the staff helpful and friendly.

The owners of the building were very kind and helpful, the rooms were well accommodated and the bathrooms in the rooms are good. We ate in the restaurant for dinner 3 nights in a row which was exceptional. Location is brilliant being only 10 minutes walk to the Goryu lift and ski hire shops.
