I stayed for a week's skiing with my son. The Pension College is clean and warm and it is in a good location. After a day on the slopes, the baths are perfect. The highlight was the care and support we got from our hosts. Despite not being able to speak Japanese, with their help we could get everything we needed- thank you!

Its a lovely place, running by a family of 4 . They are always soo helpful and let you be a part of their life. We have spend a few times together hanging out until late night. If you asked nicely they are happy to organize a mini bus/taxi for you via phone call in the morning to get to the mountain . They made a cake for some ppl birthday :) Massage chair is a bonus to relax before and after a big day. shared bathroom, (1female only) Shared bath/shower (only 2) after 16.30pm-little bath is running until late to relax in a small bath/onsen) Hot shower times everywhere noticed in the accommodation. Little snack trolley for self pay service available as a vending machine too. room are nice, big enough if you have large luggage, heater, towels, all there what you need Comfort of mattress was good small kitchen if you would like to cook something/reheat., Drinkable water available too

Good value for money, friendly and accomodating staff. Great bath and shower facilities; nice for relaxing after a day of skiing!

Close to the shuttle bus stops, a decent sized drying room and lots of restaurants nearby.

I am very picky about accommodation, but if I come back to Hakuba I would only stay here. The host was the most accommodating I have ever experienced and he went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I were comfortable and happy. He even drove to 2 pharmacies to pick me up some medicine when I got sick. The place was so clean and cozy and so perfect. Great location, and washing machine was a plus too. Highly recommend.

The onsen!!

The manager was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable of the area and drove us to bus terminal when unable to book us a taxi on departure because of a taxi shortage. Enjoyed deep hot baths at night. Shared toilets, baths and common areas where keep clean. Washing machine and cloths dryer was a bonus as was small selection of ready noodles and snacks that were very reasonably priced.

Hosts were very kind and accommodating. Room came with a TV/ WIFI and their own shared mini onsen “bath” as they called it at check in, in the shared bathrooms. Rooms were warm and they have indoor heating, so we had no need to have the heater on during the night. There are only 8 rooms, which gives the feel of a bed and breakfast. Located in more what feels like the suburbs. Had some snacks and free filtered Hot and cold water Make sure you get some food / snacks as 7/11 is a good 15+ minute walk, and restaurants close get very busy and booked quickly. Which on occasion was too cold to wait in line. There is also no breakfast provided, but there supply a communal kettle, microwave and fridge. Was a great place to stay from staying a week in village. The property was a lot cleaner, quieter and relaxing compared to the accomodation in the village (although then you aren’t central to the Happo restaurants/ mountain)

Host was very accommodating, this is a perfect stay for someone looking to be within walking distance of Shuttle buses and main street of Echoland.

Great evening onsen

“Absolutely fantastic value for money - my favourite was the Japanese hot bath!”

Fantastic spacious room for me. My favourite was bath time in the afternoon after a day of snowboarding. The super hot bath (that I, 6’3” male, could sit in with shoulders under too) was fantastic. Access to noodle breakfasts for just ¥200 was fast and easy. The staff had good English and were very friendly. The value for money for peak season was fantastic. The drying room downstairs was great for keeping everything warm and dry. I’d come back in a heart beat.

The family running the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and despite neither of us speaking the other’s language, the host was able to help us with onward travel and ski hire, and he even drove us to the bus station on our last day when all the taxis were booked. The Japanese bath at the end of the day was amazing. Convenient location near to Echoland (5 min walk to shops & restaurants)
