Beautiful properly, clean and comfortable. A little further walk from main town but we liked this as it meant it was a bit quieter. The host was lovely too and always responded very quickly

Clean, modern, and a lovely neighbourhood. 7-Eleven close by made it convenient. Enough facilities for a comfortable stay. The aircon wasn’t sufficient for the heatwave. But when I contacted the property managers they helped me to adjust the setting and it was much better. They were also very responsive when we had an issue with the hot water.

A lovely apartment in a quiet part of the town away from hotels and busier streets. Still very close to the station and restaurants and shops. And not too far from the Onsen. Really enjoyed having some private space to relax with family at the end of the day. And there was plenty of space, showers, toilets, kitchen, dining. Also really liked Hakone, being up in the hills. We lucked out with some cooler weather.

Beautiful villa. 2 bedrooms. 1 with 2 single beds and another Japanese Style Room. 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms but 1 is very tiny. There is a kitchen and washing machine.

This is a house which looks like it has recently been renovated to a very high standard. It has everything you would want for a stay and it is immaculate. We wished we could have stayed longer just to relax and take advantage of the peaceful setting. We are a couple but the house could easily cater to a family or two couples. The house has no steps to negotiate but it is at the bottom of a road with a medium slope, all paved but a bit of a trek with luggage. Not a problem for us but anyone with lots of luggage or mobility problems should take a taxi. There are plenty near the station. We liked the fact the house was peaceful because it was not in the centre of town but within walking distance. The area is famous for the Hakone Loop and it is an absolute must do.

Amazing for larger groups (multiple showers/bathrooms). Easy to do laundry with washing machine. A few nice local restaurants nearby for evening meals (even after onsens at 8pm!)

Exactly as advertised. Very well equipped. We stayed only one night but very pleasant nevertheless. The only minus is the distance to the station. Although mostly flat, the streets were narrow and we had to be mindful whenever a car approached as we and our luggage were sharing the same road with the cars. If anyone is considering going to the Hakone Onsen Ruryo, strong advice to take the bus as it stops right in front of the onsen. Taking the train involved walking up a set of steep stairs and hills. We unwisely lugged our luggage up those which we truly regretted. The private rooms must be booked in one month advance. The public bath is readily available but the lockers might be fully utilised so there’s that to consider. Wise to go earlier than later.

We definitely love the spacious rooms and everything is so organised and well thought out. Bonus for the 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. Family enjoyed the tatami room experience.

We love how spacious and clean the house was. Walkable distance to bus stop and station. It’s like our home away from home, we didn’t stay long enough to use all the amenities but everything is there to make our stay comfortable. We could see the host put a lot of effort in the little details to make sure we feel like home. Everything about the house is perfect for our family. We would highly recommended this property for your stay at Hakone.

We were travelling as an extended family of 8 from age 20 to 81, even though it was short walking distance from station but it was a struggle with cargo bags and elderly parents. Luckily we were able to get information at the information office opposite the station about feasibility of getting taxis for such a short distance. The taxis right in front of the office are able to go by meter and only cost us around 600/700 yen per taxi. Usually I worry about getting information to unlock door early as sometimes to my experience upon my arrival at some other places, still no information. No worries here.I got the information upon full payment. Messaging with host was always prompt. Upon entry to unit, the aesthetics were better than the photos shown, harmony in modern design, inside and outside, everything compact but have almost everything that you need with thoughtfulness and care for almost everything chosen to be used. I appreciate that. You can directly open your glass doors to the outside in the living/dining area to enjoy fresh air and the small balcony in the big room is a plus too. One of the bathroom is superb in size and design.

The house was very clean and feels very new and well maintained
