“Enjoyable stay, nice amenities, modern structure.”
The room was spacious and tidy, The internal fireplace was beautiful, the whole place felt friendly and modern. The view wasn't ideal, but still quite enjoyable.

“Nice stay close to town.”
We had a double room upstairs and you could openthe French doors to see the lake. Fresh air was lovely. The communal indoor fireplace area was beautiful.

“A great spot to explore Hakone”
Beautiful peaceful hotel in Motohakone. Staff were friendly and the feeling was very calm. Room was clean and cozy.

It's a lovely place in a beautiful area. However, whilst it's great meeting travellers from across the world, and the staff were welcoming, this property has more of a hostel vibe. Really nice lounge area with a fire in the middle though.

This hotel is conveniently located near many bus stations. You can see Lake Ashi from the balcony. There is a great variety of skincare products and bathroom amenities available. Breakfast is delicious.

“Enjoyable stay in a beautiful area.”
The staff were courteous. It was convenient having an evening meal at the hotel as there were not many options open while we were there. Fireplace was cosy and relaxing.

The place was so cosy, loved how close it was to Lake Ashi, and surrounding sight seeing spots. Loved the open fire place, chilling in the evening and first thing in the morning.

Wonderful cosy accommodation very close to the lake. Loved the rustic feel of the place and the communal area with the fire pit was a great place to relax in the evening. I also loved how they catered for all types of travellers - they had food there if you wanted it but if you wanted to buy something at the convenience store and heat it up that was also ok and they provided a microwave as well.as free tea and coffee. There was a bar, which was good as nothing else in town is open in the evening, but they also didn't mind you bringing in your own alcohol. The room was tiny but very comfortable. I think its the most comfortable bed I've slept in in 3 months travelling!
