“Lovely authentic place to stay in Hakone”
The house was great. There is plenty of room for the family. The outdoor bath was great and there is also an indoor bath. The kitchen was well appointed and the washing machine was great to have. We really enjoyed the projector to watch a couple of movies in the evenings.

“Very beautiful house and great location”
Very spacious and open space in the house. Big rooms for the 4 of us. Clean bathroom and nice garden outside. The location is perfect to walk to the Hakone center.

Our family of 4 enjoyed the space after being crammed in a Tokyo hotel room. The projector was also a bonus for watching movies as well as the relaxing jacuzzi. Host was helpful. We arrived in Hakone too early for check in but he let us leave our luggage in the accommodation.

Beautifully designed, spacious and the right mix of modern comforts and traditional architecture (two of the bedrooms are fairly modern and simple, with the master bedroom a traditional Japanese style room yet with comfy modern beds, and the open kitchen and lounge huge and with impressive wooden ceilings. Whilst the house can get quite cold there is more than enough heating to keep comfortable (2 air con systems in the lounge room and one in each bedroom). The jacuzzi was the icing on the cake and appreciate by the entire family :)
