Near to metro station

The staff is really nice and straightforward.

Fantastic location (I'd recommend walking to the Open Air Museum (spent about 1 hour there), walk back to Gora station > follow the Hakone Loop from there). Was a nice scenic location to stay in with lovely mountain views.

The common shares and the room were very clean. The establishment provides towels and toothbrush. The futons were very comfortable. The view from the rooftop is incredible, the basement with a poolbar and table tennis is perfect for a night with friends. The staff even recommended us a great onsen near the house. Some restaurants in the area close pretty late which is convenient !

The location is near enough to the Gora Station which is a huge bonus point and I like that the host welcoming us on the New Year Eve by preparing us a cup noodles for each of us.

“Sweet guesthouse, perfectly located near Gora Station to use as a base for experiencing Hakone.”

The guesthouse is ideally situated in Gora, just a few minutes walk from the station. However, it’s best to get there from Gora station and not the local bus, otherwise you have to walk up a very steep hill, through the woods, with many steps and if carrying heavy or large luggage, it’s far from ideal! I found out by experience and would not recommend it, please take the train! Apart from that I enjoyed my stay, my room was cute and traditional Japanese which is what I wanted to experience. The location to Gora is excellent with easy access to the ropeway, even saw great views of Mount Fuji.

“Brilliant spot in a beautiful location”

Location was beautiful - walkable to the train station and buses and a gorgeous view. Very clean and welcoming. Don't be afraid of the futon - it's definitely comfortable enough! Our hosts were all super lovely. Common areas are cool- loved playing pool downstairs!

The location is great and the place has all amenities. Everything was smooth. The rooms are not huge but spacious enough. The rooftop is a good place to get the morning sun.

The rooftop was a nice touch, an ideal place to see sunset. The common areas (kitchen and living room) were a nice space to hang out, there was even netflix. The location was good as there were lots of attractions relatively near by.

The best stay if you want to do the Hakone Loop. The room is very cosy, the stuff is helpfull and the view is amazing 🤩

Great location, fab rooftop, superb staff, kitchen use, showers great, loads of toilets, wifi decent, peaceful. Lovely bedroom and futon beds (just needed better pillows...)

Good sized room.. Communal kitchen and lounge were really nice. Good location. It was very peaceful throughout the building. Rooftop views were great but it rained through most of our stay so we didn't get to enjoy that space as much as we would have liked.
