“A wonderful stay”
The facilities were great, the onsen was clean, warm and relaxing. I enjoyed the dim lighting as it made the views from outside even more beautiful at night. The breakfast was also wonderful, the best of our trip and it was great to try so many things. The location was also excellent for getting around even in the snow!

Everything! Great onsen on the top floor with a spectacular view, Outdoor and indoor! Spacious modern rooms and by far the best breakfast we have ever had topped off with French champagne.

“Great Hakodate and onsen experience”
Amazing breakfast (although busy and with a short wait), good location in Hakodate, excellent onsen, kind and helpful staff, and very clean. A word on the onsen: this is a traditional onsen, with separate men’s and women’s areas, no bathing suits, and generous facilities for before and after bathing. Very helpful instructions are displayed for first timers. Well worth it, including for the views, and there is a good cafe/bar on the same floor to stop at after.

The stand-out for this hotel was the wonderful buffet breakfast. The food is so varied and so beautiful. Also, it's very good value for money.
