“a great base to explore the Great Forest, with (pretty much) all modern conveniences”
The location is simply fantastic, within walking distance from the train station and to the Great Forest of Bialowieza. A big supermarket across the road for all your self-catering needs. Several restaurants within 5min walk with delicious local food, also a cafe/bakery with mind-blowing cakes. The apartment is very clean and largely quiet (see below). Wifi was nice and fast. There was nearly everything needed for autonomous existence - couldn't find the laundry detergent so bought some, now there is everything. The bath is nice and big, which is very relaxing after those 20+km hikes
