“Genuine Japanese home provides a cultural experience”
A good experience to stay in a Japanese style home with tatami and futon. Although small, the kitchen was functional for simple meals. The location was generally good once we worked out the route to the centre of town. Our host, Minori was excellent, and very generous and helpful. We visited her cafe and enjoyed meeting some local people.

Wonderful cosy house to stay, and the host Minori provided excellent recommendations on places to visit nearby. Our favourite spot was the Mitsuminato Station Morning Market!

“Fantastic Home Away from Home in Hachinohe”
The house and the story behind it were fantastic. Also, the host was remarkable. She was kind and had so many great recommendations. Everything was wonderful for our trip. It's about a 20 minute walk from the city center too! So it's away from all the bright lights and people 👍

We love the nostalgia of this traditional house of over 40 years and the story of it being Minori’s great grandmothers house was very special. It’s a treat to spend time in such a home which we would not otherwise be able to experience. It was also very close to the city center. We were in Hachinohe for the Nebuta festival and it was only a short walk away!
