One floor above us was getting a renovation during our stay. We were supposed to stay 3 nights, but we stayed only one. The rooms were in horrible condition. AC units leaked on the floor. There were stains on the walls and on the bedsheets. Overall the hotel looked like a mess. Nothing like in the pictures.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed with their warmth, professionalism, and constant attention to detail. Every team member was courteous, helpful, and always ready with a smile, making our stay truly comfortable and stress-free. A special mention goes to the manager, who was outstanding in every way. Their leadership clearly reflects in the high standards of service maintained throughout the hotel. The manager was approachable, attentive, and ensured that everything ran smoothly, going above and beyond to make sure guests were well taken care of. It’s worth mentioning that parts of the hotel are currently under construction; however, this had no negative impact on our experience or the overall vibe of our stay. Everything was well managed, and the peaceful, enjoyable atmosphere was perfectly maintained. Overall, Royal Kashyapa Hotel exceeded our expectations with its exceptional hospitality. The dedication of the staff and the excellent management made our experience truly memorable, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and well-managed stay.

“Central location nice pool”
Really good location for Central habarana walking distance to habarana Lake and 10 minute tuk tuk ride to train station. Trains going direct to Trinco or Colombo when we were there. Staff at hotel really nice, food great and rooms clean.
