Rustic villas set in a beautiful garden with cute balconies outside every room. Generous sized rooms. Inexpensive. They turned the ac so the rooms were cool before our arrival. little touches. Staff were lovely and food excellent, especially the Sri Lankan breakfast. We were a group of 9 so we took up the whole resort. We left early one day to walk lion rock and they agreed to give us our breakfast at 10.30 when we returned which was delicious. We enjoyed the pool and the setting.

“Super nice villa in Habarana”

This villa truly has a warm sense of hospitality. The owner, an older gentleman, along with young staff and kind village grandmothers, took great care of us throughout our stay. I stayed for 10 nights plus another 3 nights. The villa is set in a well-maintained jungle garden, and the swimming pool is lovely. Breakfast was excellent every day: many kinds of bread (more than I could finish), freshly cooked egg dishes made to order, fruit, and good coffee. I was very satisfied every morning. Sigiriya Rock is about 30 minutes by tuk-tuk, and the villa arranged a tuk-tuk that waited during the climb, so sightseeing felt safe and relaxed. Because the villa is about a 10-minute walk off the main street, I had almost all dinners at the villa. The food was reasonably priced for this town. The mushroom soup, curries, and the Western seafood set were especially good. Overall, I was very happy with my stay. We can really feel the wish of Miss Rashini, Mr. Erand, all the staff, and the village grandmothers to make guests happy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a pleasant stay here. They were very welcoming, the room was big and had everything it needs. The rice and curry was made for us quite late in the evening and tasted amazing!

“Lovely setting, pool and excellent value for money”

It was in a quiet peaceful location, and the pool was clean and lovely. I was unwell and a member of staff was really kind, checked on me and brought me ginger tea which was greatly appreciated.

Great location for ayurveda spa nearby. Good base for going to Sigirya and Dambulla. The villa is very lush and has nice gardens, relaxing atmosphere. The pool was big enough for swimming. The rooms were big and we had extra storage space for luggage.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating to provide a wonderful stay with a great service. I highly recommend booking a stay with A4 Villa

i cannot recommend A4 villa enough! yes the rooms are simple, but the staff were extremely helpful and attentive, and the setting of the hotel is so peaceful and quiet. we felt really looked after. the breakfast was out of this world. the staff always replied to us instantly on whatsapp with whatever request we had and they booked so many excursions or taxis for us - we couldn’t have done the trip without them! lots of people stay in sigiriya when they visit the cultural triangle but honestly we found that habarana had a more local vibe and better value for money, with A4 being the perfect place to be based. i saw lots of reviews about mosquitoes in the room, which is true as the rooms are old, but that’s just life in the tropics!!! wear lots of bug repellent spray and you’ll survive :) thank you A4 villa! FYI - the villa is advertised as a spa hotel, but actually they show you to a separate spa that happens to be next door. it is not part of the hotel. the spa itself was extremely over priced and not a very good experience. save your money and try elsewhere! not the hotel’s fault, but just so you know.

“Relaxing staying”

Beautiful place, nice and quiet in the middle of nature. The swimming pool is clean and inviting. Mr Silva and his team go above and beyond to make you feel like at home. Don't hesitate to try their srilankan dishes.
