“Perfect Haarlem Experience”

Monique welcomed us upon arrival with cold beverages and snacks. The room was fully equipped with everything we would need for our stay. The bathroom had lots of towels and amenities and the kitchenette had all the essentials. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows provided. The back deck was lovely to relax on. The location was perfect, close proximity to everything and a short walk to the train station. We could not have asked for a better experience. We even received a sweet treat on our departure.

River Side is a perfect spot to stay in Haarlem! Monique is an amazing and attentive host. Place itself is very carefuly decorated, beautiful views, and a terrace for your breakfast. Everything needed is there, coffee maker (with decaf option as well!), fridge, not mentionig the "usuals" comfy bed, quiet neighborhood. Everything is walking distance. Highly recommended for stay in Haarlem. Thank you Monique!

The room was lovely and the host gave us a drink and biscuits/chocolates on arrival. There was also fruit, water, beer and wine provided free of charge.

We came with our 6 month old baby and will definitely be back. Excellent location, Monique was a stand out host with a real eye for detail. There were so many beautiful and thoughtful touches, like drinks in the fridge, fresh fruit and tea on arrival. She made our stay very comfortable and easy. Also wonderful to get a taste of an old Dutch building with historic features.

Great location overlooking the river with a windmill opposite. Very picturesque. 10 mins from the rail station and from Haarlem it's 20 mins by rail into Amsterdam. So nice to be away from the bustle of the city. Lovely host who was extremely thoughtful and kind. The perfect room with everything we needed and so much more. Strong recommend.

It’s beautifully furnished with a wonderful private terrace. Stunning view and minutes from centre. The Host is amazing, v friendly and helpful and v respectful of privacy. Everything you could want for a perfect break in this amazing town.

Monique cares a great deal about her guests and made us feel welcome. We had everything we needed during our stay and enjoyed the view, the kitchenette to cook meals and the comfortable bed. We would highly recommend! :)

We had a wonderful time! Had a great view from our window of the Adriaan windmill and canal. Always something to see. Very easy to walk to the Grote Markt where there is a fantastic Saturday market, and numerous restaurants. It was easy to book day excursions on the GettheGuide app, for in the city or to different places.
