Fantastic location, just short walk to train and many shops and restaurants and pretty town of Haarlem. Home was truly amazing, spacious and beautifully decorated. Merel was a wonderful host. Very generous with her time, advice and breakfast supplies.

Loved our stay here. Super close to the train station which was perfect. Haarlem is stunning. Very much enjoyed exploring it and it is a quick 15 min train ride into Amsterdam Centraal station. The bedrooms were huge and although we didn’t use the sitting room, it was very cosy and had Netflix. Really appreciated the food that was left for breakfast. Fresh fruits, cheese, milk, butter, eggs, pancakes, yoghurt and a coffee machine with pods. It was perfect for filling our tummies before days walking and sightseeing.

The host was wonderfully welcoming, even as we arrived late at night and very responsive to any communications. The house was clean and is 150 years old so has a lot of character.

The house was less than 10 minutes walk from Haarlem station, and right next to a lovely park route. Both bedrooms are clean and comfortable. The host was super responsive and provided great breakfast items such as fresh eggs, bread, milk, fruit and oat milk as requested.

“A comfortable stay in an attractive (but quirky) house.”
Easy walk into city centre, partly alongside canal. and only 5 minutes from station Comfortable rooms. Good shower room. An older house with high ceilings and big rooms which the central heating could not deal with adequately. However, a good auxiliary heater provided. Fridge well stocked for breakfasts. Host(ess) very helpful when we needed a late checkout to fit in with flight time. Ideal for a family.
