Excellent location in the heart of Haarlem and a short walk to the station. Simon (the host) was very responsive and attentive to our queries. The apartment was well equipped for cooking our own meals each day and very quiet despite being in the middle of town.

This was the highlight of our European holiday. The apartment was fabulous. We felt so welcome from the moment our booking was accepted, which I have read out to many of our friends, to all the helpful videos for access including empting the rubbish, which for us. It was wonderful to be so close to everything and to be able to come back to the apartment and feel like we coming home. Thankyou so much for sharing your Apartment with us.

Communication was great, the location within Haarlem is perfect. The apartment basically had everything we needed, even for a 2 week vacation with washing machine and dishwasher included.

The appartment is located on wonderfull location. Everything you need is very, very close, restaurants, bars, shops, bakerys, caffeterias....Haarlem is beautifull, and very nice town to stay, and use like a Base for all excursiones. But, you must also feel the spirit of Haarlem which is incredeable. The coolest App.have everything you need. Very clean, very pleasent to stay for days. The kitchen is perfect you got everything you need, The bedroom also, bathroom...What can I say for Simon, exept one big BRAVO! Fantastic gentlman, who have on his mind every time,do you feel comfortable, who explaine you everything you want to know, and more of that. He answer on you call, message wright in the moment. We had a wonderful one week stay in this apartment.It is in a great position,close to cafes and restaurants,a supermarket and Haarlem station less than a 10 minute walk away.The apartment is set up with everything you need and is very comfortable.The communication from the hosts,Michelle and Simon,was excellent and they always responded quickly to any queries.We would happily stay here again!

“Great Place at Great Location.”

Simon was very kind and clear with his instruction on how to retrieve the key and how to dispose the trash. He had also put into considerations things that is needed like shampoo and bodywash, ingredients for cooking, vaccum cleaner. Which makes a lot of sense as i am a clean freak. Also the kitchen was fully accessorized with cleaning products, pots and pans makes it easier to cook anything. There is also washing detergent for the washer and dishwasher. We had a great time hanging out in the large cosy livingroom. We did cooking almost daily and enjoyed our dinner at home most of the time with the huge dining table. The location was extremely great as it is just a walk to the train station and central. Simon was kind enough to let us stay longer as our flight was not until 10pm. Like Simon would put it, a home away from home.

This is a great place for anyone who wants to live in a beautiful apartment in a quaint town like Haarlem, and at the same time explore Amsterdam and other cities of Netherlands. Amsterdam is just 16 mins train ride away. The apartment itself is located in a very picturesque and historic section of Haarlem with everything in a walking distance. Coming to our apartment, it is quite cute with a spacious living room and big windows. The place was really clean and every amenity was provided. And the best part is, our host Simon was really helpful. He was always there to respond to our every query and help us on every way he can. He made sure that we are comfortable.

Very homely and stylish. Had everything you need and more- dishwasher, oven, washing machine and able to link our Netflix to the TV made it a cut above other apartments we have stayed in. Was lovely!

Wonderful apartment, fully equipped with everything you need, including comfortable sofa, tv and stocked kitchen. Location also brilliant in Haarlem Centre, which is a beautiful town. Facilities are nearby, very convenient as well as good public transport. Host Simon very friendly and helpful.

Cosy and comfortable apartment in walking distance to nearly everywhere (city center, central station). Also very nice host.

The location of this apartment could not be better. The square was a 5 minute walk. The train station a 10 minute walk. The supermarket was a three minute walk. The living, dining and kitchen area was very generous in size. The washer and dryer were perfect. All the appliances worked great. We especially like the espresso machine. We could stream from our iPad to the smart TV. The shower was excellent and there was lots of hot water. The bathroom was the smallest one I have ever seen. That being said it worked ok but it was a one person at a time scenario. As a result it took a bit longer to get ready to start the day. The bed was comfortable.

Location was near all the necessary shops, cafes, bars and very close to a decent supermarket. Felt like home from home, and had everything we could think of you would need in terms of utensils and implements for cooking. Excellent advice on what to do and how to do it in the area and the host was extremely helpful, but not intrusive. Given that it’s a city centre location it was quiet in the evening and early morning. Happy to agree that it is the coolest apartment in Haarlem!

Our stay in Simon's apartment was great. We received instructions via Whatsapp on how to find the apartment and get the key. That went smoothly. The apartment is very centrally located, in the middle of Haarlem, and yet it is quiet in the bedroom. It is all very comfortably furnished and decorated with a lot of love. A LED fireplace and lots of candles add to the coziness. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and waffles - thank you! :-) The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is small but nice and offers everything you need. We liked that many products were in stock, such as soap, toilet paper and also delicious coffee. We had the opportunity to meet Simon briefly, he is super friendly and helpful and gave us some tips for our time in North Holland. Overall, we felt very, very comfortable and welcome.
