The location of the hotel is an easy walk from the railway station and easy to find and you are welcomed at the door. Also a couple of minutes from the main shopping/sight seeing area which has many bars and restaurants, but was not noisy or too busy. The hotel provided all we needed for a two night stay and was hard to fault. The room was a good size and full of daylight with openable windows. The owners/staff were outstanding in terms of making you welcome; they were friendly and helped you make the most of the town and what the main sights were. Breakfast included some home made stuff and was served at the table with a smile and more than adequate.

A nice and very pleasant small hotel with very helpful hosts. They explain everything clearly, give useful advice, and are always ready to help. They even prepared a packed breakfast for us on the day of our departure as we were leaving early in the morning. The atmosphere is friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable. Haarlem city centre and bars/restaurants at your doorstep. A very convenient location for bus to Schiphol and Keukenhof and train to Amsterdam. We felt very welcome during our stay. We would be more than happy to come back again!

I loved the friendly welcome, help with the language, and a great location! Breakfast was very good too. Noise was not an issue.

Very quiet, very cosy, with réal flowers in the breakfast room. The room itself is simple, very clean with 2 windows, so planty of light. You can sit in the breakfast room for a cup of tea, looking down into the street. The bed was confortable. The breakfast delicious. The staff very friendly.

“Excellent location, comfort and service”

The location was excellent, in the center of town just steps from the main square. The staff were very kind and welcoming, providing lots of great recommendations for food, drinks and sightseeing in the area. They have a couple of bikes that you can rent during the day. I took advantage of this and biked to the national park by the seaside, which was the highlight of my stay! Would highly recommend this hotel and if I’m in the area again I will definitely return!

Facilities were excellent but the bed was 2 single mattress shoved together, not ideal but very comfortable and warm.

This hotel far exceeds expectations. Rarely I have received a better welcome. The hosts clearly care greatly for the experience of every guest. The location is perfect for exploring Haarlem and there is a virtually door to door bus service to the airport. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I have travelled a lot.

A really lovely place, great location and my room was spacious and clean. The owners were so incredibly helpful and welcoming, when I come back to Haarlem, I'll definitely stay here again!

The people are wonderful, treat you like family. Very knowledgeable about area. The breakfasts are amazing, with many options. Location was perfect. Haarlem provides easy access to everywhere without the hassle of Amsterdam

Breakfast was great. Lots of healthy choices of food and drink. When we checked out, Henk and Annemarie also made us breakfast to go, as we had to leave at 05.30 hrs. Really nice touch.

The hosts, Henk and Annemarie, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Breakfast was simply delightful. It was prepared with love and care, and we felt happy to wake up each morning. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was great. We were sad to say goodbye at the end of our stay.
