A very nice spacious, cosy room, access to a garden and close to everything in Haarlem. The hosts were very friendly and made an absolutely great breakfast! Even with Hagelslag, could wish for more.

“Perfect stay in Haarlam”

This was perfect for our stay in Haarlam on our cycling holiday on route to the tulip fields. It was a real gem, clean, comfortable with some lovely added touches. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to be able to relax in the peaceful garden. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for a days cycling.

The location is very central in Haarlem. 15 mins walk from the train station and very close to the main square for food and night life. Ad and Esther were an absolute delight and couldn't do enough for us. 10/10 would highly recommend and will stay again.

Breakfast, as others have said, is good and sufficient enough that you could make a packed lunch from it if you wanted to. The kitchen has good gadgets like a coffee maker and kettle etc. The oven was particularly good too. I liked the way the sun shone into the room in the morning. It was nice that there was a bottle of wine and beer for us when we first arrived. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean.

“Perfect location for our stay”

Had a lovely 5 night stay at the B&B Het Hart Van Haarlem. Enjoyed our room (B) overlooking the garden at the rear of the property. Stayed here for the excellent transport links from the Airport. The bus stop (Centrum/Verwulft) is directly outside the B&B and is on the way from Amsterdam Airport to Haarlem station (Bus 300 when we travelled April 2026). While here we walked and used public transport as it is so easy to get around tapping on and off the public transport with just your contactless credit card. Enjoyed my breakfast everyday in our room. Very good Hosts made us feel very welcome,. Dank u wel Esther and Ad Ruigrok.

Fabulous room, warm, comfortable with everything we could ask for. Great outlook to the garden. Ester is lovely and the breakfast is amazing. This B&B is a jewel, located perfectly in a wonderful town….. you couldn’t ask for more.

A characterful and gracious B and B in the most convenient spot...right by the 300 bus from and to the airport! Having a lovely breakfast brought to the room was delightful. The sitting area was so comfortable and there was a great feeling of space to relax. Haarlem itself is a gem of a place, great transport to Amsterdam, and so nice to come back to after a busy day

Fantastic stay! Very centrally located in a beautiful historic building. Charming, high ceilinged room, large + comfy bed and the most fantastic breakfast bought to the room the next morning... What more could you want?! Parking garage Kamp is located close by and very reasonable for overnight parking!

Excellent breakfast brought to room each morning. Excellent accomodating hosts. Great value for money and the garden room is very quiet with no noise from the outside busy street. Ideal location close to all amenities. We choose this location as a base as opposed to Amsterdam as it provided better value for money. We actually liked the neighbourhood charm of Haarlem over Amsterdam which was only a short train trip away.
