Too many stairs to get to room

The view from the room, bed, pillows were good, clean room, windows can be opened. Breakfast is really good and the view from the restaurant is fantastic! Helpful and friendly team. Close to other restaurants, beautiful sandy beach. Laundry service from the hotel is available, but also just washing machines in the shop nearby. Also ATM, currency exchange and two shops are nearby.

“Let Down”

Too much noise early morning 2am to 5am from Israel people and drug smoking!! Slamming Doors!! Breakfast was very disappointing!!

We have been coming to Bay View for many years. We had a large balcony with a wonderful sea view. The room was spacious and comfortable and the cleaning staff were excellent. The new reception area is more comfortable and welcoming and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant staff were great and very friendly. The hotel is set in a perfect location for fabulous views of the bay and beautiful sunsets. The pools were lovely but access is now difficult as you have to walk through the restaurant to access the pool.

We were a little dubious of staying here as there are some bad reviews about the staff but we didn’t experience this at all! They were also lovely, especially the girls at breakfast! Location is great, with amazing sunsets and visible stars! A good handful of bars and restaurants on the beach! Scooter hire available next to the hotel

Our room was available for a early check in

Staff was very unpleasant. The guesthouse was old. It is definitely not a hotel, but a very poor guesthouse. AC was leaking all the stay. They came to "fix" it over 3 times but didn't help. The pool is green and not a single person from the entire place went in or touched the water. Room was on top of a hill that was very hard to walk to. It was a very unpleasant stay and the staff at the reception were so rood. Didn't pay any attention, no answer when you ask something. Tried to convince us we didn't leave a deposit and it took us long time after checkout to get the deposit back.

Close to beach, accomodation had affordable taxis and short walk to 7/11 for essentials

We have stayed here many times over the years. Beautiful location. Right on the beach with amazing views of the bay. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and we had a lovely, big balcony with views of the bay. Close to many bars and restaurants. Ma, on reception is always helpful, booking taxis, ferries and trips for us. Mama Tim and her team in the restaurant are so welcoming and friendly, we were made to feel like family.

Large resort at the end of Haad Yao. Two shops close by, restaurant and bike hire available. Towels and sheet changed every two days, fresh water every day. Staff were friendly and helped organise organise onward transport etc.
