“Perfect location”

Everything,Everything and everything. The hosts were fantastic,very helpful and very welcoming. Helped to organise taxis. Hotel was pefect, right on the beach, 10 minute walk up the beach to the bars. Food in Hotel was very tasty and would highly recommend. No sunloungers on beach, but the beach towels provided are big enough to lay on sand.Pool lovely and clean with loungers. Rooms very comfortable and shower hot and pillows you sink into.

The staff and location were amazing. Beach was great for swimming most days and snorkeling near the rocks was good. Lots of different fish. Walking distance to everything including supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants.

Loved loved loved our stay at Palita Lodge. Such a beautiful place, we were made to feel very special. Felt like a part of the family. Mrs Sue was so kind. Location was amazing too. The beach was exceptional. If ever we return to Koh Phangan we will stay here again without hesitation.

It was a sweet family resort. On the quieter side of the island which is lovely. Definitely highly recommended. Had the best sleep!! The most comfortable bed I slept while in Thailand.

Great beach location. Owner and all staff absolutely lovely. Food good. Only disappointment for us was swimming pool Closed for maintenance and not told in advance - compensated with a few free drinks and food. Beach lovely anyway so don’t miss pool.

We booked a 3-night stay at Palitaloge but were only able to stay for 2 nights due to the extremely poor conditions. Despite this, no one from the hotel asked why we chose to leave early or offered any kind of support or compensation. From the first night, the room was a nightmare—completely different from the photos online. We found a large lizard in the room, the furniture was old, and the space was dirty. Worst of all, the bed was infested with bed bugs, which left us with multiple bites on our arms and legs. Throughout the stay, we kept finding small insects despite being very cautious. On the second night, we heard strange noises coming from the wooden table in the room, likely due to hidden insects or animals, which made it very hard to sleep peacefully. The swimming pool was completely unusable—dirty, green, covered with leaves, and totally different from the images online. Although the food at the restaurant was acceptable, we were horrified when a large snake appeared next to our table during dinner, right near the reception area. Another issue was that the air conditioning automatically turned off whenever we left the room, which is unacceptable in Thailand’s hot and humid climate. This allowed more insects to enter, making the situation worse. We shared our negative feedback multiple times during our stay, but the hotel staff showed no willingness to help or improve the situation. Additionally, we were asked to pay a cash deposit, which was not mentioned anywhere in advance, and didn’t reflect the actual condition of the hotel or room. Sadly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The location is the best beach on koh phangan. The thai family that own the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
