I liked the vibe around the stay. Very nice to stay in a Hanok to relax or when you want to go into Jirisan park and enjoy the nature or go on a hike.

What I really liked about the hanok stay was… The best part of the stay was the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were really nice and helpful throughout my stay.

“Traditional comfortable Hanok near Hwayeomsa Temple”

Very traditional and spacious. Host was helpful with suggestions for eateries and temples in the area. It is a family home and well kept and the kitchen is very well equipped.

It was lovely to stay in this beautiful hanok. It was clean, tidy and comfortable. We enjoyed using the barbeque facilities (extra cost) and the large bathtub. We only stayed one night and wished we had more time here to enjoy the hanok and the surrounding area.

A wonderful accommodation, very well organised and located. Peaceful , clean and friendly. A feeling of home away from home.

“Stay here it’s great”

We loved staying here with our young family. The Hanok is gorgeous and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. The big bath was a hit with our girls, it’s takes a while to fill up so if you’re going to use it start filling it up about an hour and a half before you use it, it’s huge. The location was great to get to hikes and then to relax the next day. We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had booked it for longer. Check in was easy and we were meet by two friendly dogs.

Beautiful house with lots of woodwork, very clean and comfortable. Perfect location nearby Jirisan national park which is good for trekking. Hwaeomsa temple is close by - go there around 10:00 for morning prayer chants. There are many other temples in the vicinity. Definitely best part of your trip to Korea. Renting car is advisable.

It was very nice place. Peaceful and lovely house. There is almost everything what you need. Laundry is a big gift for the family and travelers. You can try the traditional bath at the house. It is big enough for the family.

Lovely hanok with good heating, a little kitchen/dining and large bathroom. A very picturesque property with other hanoks within the compound in an unspoilt village.

The location is stunning. Very peaceful. The hanok is attractive and well appointed, and the host seems to have thought of everything. I was especially grateful to the host’s brother who helped me through a couple of tricky situations (of my own making). He was extremely kind and made my stay smoother than it might otherwise have been. Thank you!

Amazing traditional hanok, but new and luxurious. Especially the owner is super nice and excellent communication. I loved the place and easy to visit the mountains and temples. Would love to go back, highly recommend this place!

“Lovely traditional home in a quiet location, perfect for exploring Jirisan NP and surroundings”

Beautiful new-built traditional home in a quiet location just outside Jirisan NP. The house is spacious and comfy, clean, with a nice and warm shower and a lovely area for tea & coffee. It had everything we could need and as a bonus there are two super cute dogs that 'guard' the property. I think it was our best accommodation in three weeks Korea and I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

The traditional house is nice, in a peaceful and pleasant place, surrounded by rice fields. We slept perfectly on the futon. Nice experience staying in a traditional house.

“Beautiful Hanoks”

The Hanoks are very nice and close to both a town and the Jirisan National Park. The owner's son was very responsive and gave us recommendations for restaurants.
