The apartment was modern and offered facilities we made no use of. Parking was good. Handily placed for the city centre. Managed to arrange earlier access, so that was a bonus.

We were travelling on a not so easy to predict schedule. The host was very flexible while we informed him more than once that our ETA had changed again. Still we were received by two kind ladies who had been patiently waiting for us and showed us the apartment. They gave very helpful tips about shops in the area. The apartment is within walking distance from shops and bakery. Also a very good restaurant (1000 kolorau, although not cheap and with a somewhat grumpy waiter) nearby. Excellent internet (fiber, 500 Mb/s up and download!). Comfortable shower, well equipped, comfortable floor (wood). Quiet area, good soundproof windows. Pleasant terrace with morning sun. Reserved parking space.

“Nice location to explore the seaside of the Basque Country.”
Nice apartment well located to discover the coastal route between Bilbao and San Sebastian. Also Bilbao takes only a 30' drive by car.
