“A lovely peaceful stay in a very quiet and well kept woodland jewel.”
The room was very spacious and clean and had dining and living areas along with a bed. The grounds were very well kept with beautiful flowers surrounding the rooms.

What a nice hotel, reasonable priced for the region, very friendly staff, good 'basic' breakfast (exactly what I needed, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit), very helpful staff for idea of hikes in the region, a nice fireplace in room, and generally excellent experience.

“Stunning wooden cabins set in a beautiful location”
Highlands resort is simply beautiful, and full of character and charm. The cabins are extremely well appointed and set in amongst the trees and landscaped gardens. Outdoor fire pit where you can sit and have your breakfast on a chilly morning. Lovely swimming pool too. The hosts made us feel welcome and were really helpful with local recommendations for food, drinks and nearby attractions to visit. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. I would definitely return on another trip.

“It was overall lovely queer woodsy friendly beautiful stay.”
the location was adorable, and the staff SO nice. I left a very expensive bottle of wine with my parents in their room as a gift- they forgot to pack it. When I discover the mistake I wrote to the Highland Resort and noted id pay for shipping for the bottle. Sadly, someone else drank it the next night before they could check the fridge. They instead offered me a refund for one of the nights of the stay which was a really sweet gesture.
