I felt so welcome and good taken care of. It was a blessing after such a long day of traveling. The area felt safe and the room was very comfy and quiet. The host even offered me a menu to order food and a taxi to the airport the next morning for a very good price. I felt more like a guest in her house instead of being in a hotel. It was a wonderful end of my Guatemala trip!

“Okay for an overnight and being within walking distance to the Airport.”
In a gated community within walking distance to the airport. Pleasant owner who initially wanted cash payment as the ‘creditcard was being update’ but in the end she was very accommodating and we managed a creditcard payment (with an extra cost).

“Secure safe haven to rest and revitalize before really starting your trip.”
I arrived in Guatemala very tired and late in the evening so I looked for a hostel close to the airport to sleep before moving on the next morning. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the airport and the staff picked me up at the airport for an extra 10$. Communication from the hotel was very good. I booked the hotel in the morning just before my first flight and send them a message to pick me up, at my transit I saw they send a message back very quickly confirming the pickup. There communication was assuring, and I quickly knew that I would be safe upon my arrival in Guatemala and have a bed to sleep in. The owner was also very helpful in booking transport to Antigua for the next day, late in the evening.

“It's a fine stay.”
- The cleaning lady was lovely, and Luci was very helpful. - With the fan, I didn't feel hot at night. - It's walking distance from the airport. My flight landed late at night (10 pm) and I didn't want to spend 10 USD on the pick-up service, so I walked to the hotel (around 10 minutes). It was a bit dark, but I arrived safely.

“Convenient for the airport”

“Perfect stay!”
Great stay! I had to spend a night in Guatemala City before my flight and Novohostel was perfect! Lovely staff, good breakfast provided. Located in a gated street so I felt very safe. I was also allowed to order food to my room, with help of staff which was great as I was very tired! Thankyou :) Also, I would recommend getting an uber to and from the airport if you can as it is much cheaper than the white taxis (I paid 100GTQ for Uber vs 700GTQ for taxi outside airport)
