Travelled from overseas, and arrived 11:30 Then i was told to wait til 12:00, despite rooms were available. Breakfast VERY disappintig Keys of room did not work, had to go teice back to reception Elevators always busy, long waiting tieme Reception staff not friendly, not motivated

The Barcelo had friendly reception staff who made you feel very welcome, and we were able to check in well advance of the official check in time, which was great. The rooms were large, comfortable and the bathrooms had everything you needed (good lighting, magnifying mirror etc). We had a balcony, which although we didn't have much of a view due to being a low floor, was nice and peaceful to sit out on at the end of a busy day. Great value for money overall especially with the free shuttle provided to the airport (make sure to book in advance as seats are limited for the once an hour journey).

The room was big and comfortable with a balcony. The pool is an excellent place to spend an afternoon. The breakfast buffet has a large range of choices. The free airport shuttle is an excellent service.

“Great place to stay near the airport with a free shuttle”
The room was very comfortable and a good size with a balcony overlooking the pool. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for somewhere near the airport, it only takes about 15 mins. It was easy to book the free airport shuttle by email and they are able to advise the shuttle that you should catch based on your flight departure time. The staff were excellent and the breakfast options were plentiful. I didn't get to explore the neighbourhood as arrived at night and left the following morning.

We stayed a second time at this hotel for 2 nights this time. The check-in couldn't have been more different. We were seen immediately, given a room an hour before check-in time, and the staff member was very pleasant, giving us information about the pool and booking our airport shuttle. The previous stay here, it took more than an hour to line up to check in, and the staff were unhelpful. So this was a pleasant surprise. The room was large and comfy and clean with a coffee making machine. The bathroom has good quality toiletries. We made use of the lovely pool both days. We had drinks in the sports bar, choosing to eat elsewhere after eating here in a previous stay. Breakfast options are vast and really good. Nice hotel and good for the airport
