Before I begin, some context: we were travelling as a family of five—my wife and I, our son and daughter-in-law, and our two-year-old grandson. We chose a two-bedroom suite with breakfast included and wanted somewhere with easy access to attractions and eateries within walking distance. From the start, the experience was excellent. Communication with the staff via Booking.com was outstanding, with helpful advice on airport transfers and getting around Guangzhou. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were courteous, professional, and able to communicate in English. The two-bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for a multi-generational family, offering both room to gather and privacy when needed. The view from the 21st floor was an added bonus. Breakfast offered a good mix of local and international options, while housekeeping was efficient and flexible. What impressed us most was their attentiveness—they noticed we were travelling with a young child from the milk bottles in the kitchen and thoughtfully provided extra bottled water along with a kind note. Overall, Kempinski Residences Guangzhou delivered an exceptional family stay through its excellent service, spacious accommodation, convenient location, and genuine attention to detail. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting Guangzhou.

The property is clean and centrally located, with spacious, modern rooms. The breakfast was excellent. Although the staff struggled a bit with English, they were amazing. I especially appreciated the professionalism of the doormen and women. Shuttles are available to the Canton Fair, and you can print your Canton Fair badges on-site — which makes everything so much easier.

“Fabulous stay”

I stayed there for 4 weeks and I enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff are amazing, the food is tasty, the location of the hotel is perfect. The pool and gym is fantastic, I honestly enjoyed my stay

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was responsive and accommodating - they agreed to change several of our rooms to higher floors and facing away from the construction site.
